I'm replaying this again. Playing on Steam.

How do I go about modding it and what mods do you recommend? Was hoping for an inventory one and I thought I remember reading there was one to show all quest markers on the map, not just the active one?

There's a few basic QOL mods I'd definitely recommend (just install thru NMM). I'm assuming you're working with a fully updated version of the game

There's some other good QOL stuff like Fast Travel From Anywhere, but I definitely don't recommend that for first time players since you can break the game if you fast travel when you're not supposed to. Other then Immersive Cam/Immersive Motion/Immersive AI that's really all the non graphical stuff I use

I don't know if the unification patch stuff still applies since I made that post years ago.

Does it matter if its on Steam (as opposed to GoG?)

It shouldn't, but if it matters I think the mod pages should cover it.

The unification patch was because of minor differences between the GOG and Steam version, but I believe the game has been patched since then so that maybe doesn't apply anymore.

next-gen update with ray tracing and all the bells and whistles is supposed to be out later this year as well. CDPR has promised a bit of new content inspired by the show as well

I was about to post this. The game was supposed to launch with the next gen versions on day 1, and 12 months later it still won't be released. At this point they're doing it just to salvage their name, but good lord who even wants to return to the game at this point?

Should also be noted they're now calling the PS5/XSX versions "next gen", even though at launch they called the PS4/XOX versions "last gen" and the "next gen" versions "current gen", and blamed the "last gen" versions (which are the only version they've released so far) for all the launch delays.

Just spectacular incompetence at every turn with Cyberpunk, lol.
