Windower, not running scripts.

This may be in the wrong thread but anyways.

Ive came back from a 2 year hiatus from the game, and got a fresh install of ffxi. My laptop is running windows 8, i had slight issues making windower work to being with, but managed that. Now my problem lies in the scripts, my init.txt file works fine on loading but any of my in game macros that utilize the /console exec "(file name.txt). give me an error.

"Could not execute(1 or 2) script.txt - system was out of memory, executable file was corrupt, or relocations were invalid -0

I tried moving them out of my files into the main scripts file and cannot make anything work.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried the Windower forums? From what I understand a lot of Windower plugins are completely incompatible with Windows 8.
