Metals show up pretty much every day. Seems like the colored ones show up more often during events but can still show up rarely outside of the. Golds are really rare though (thus only needing one to evolve pengdras). Just keep an eye on the upcoming events. That app I mentioned can be setup to give you reminders for events.
You can probably do Two Heroes to get a Berserk with a mono-red. You actually have the four best mono-red leads, so you're in great shape there. It's not an MVP in any real teams, but good to have either way.
As for Kirin, for rounds where you have the orbs, it shouldn't be too hard with some practice. You have to make sure you clear hearts and darks in your normal routine (which means 5+ combos), or else your board will be flooded with those and you wouldn't have the required orbs to trigger.
I think your best bet would be to use Kirin or Odin to get a few Heras, after which you can start tackling the harder descends. With a D/L Hades, you can actually pair with a Horus as well.
Yea, your group won't change, and sorry I didn't mention the whole schedule thing earlier. Jewel Dragons and Pengdras are all like that, so you need to check the schedule everyday to see what's opening that day and the next. About every other day is Metal, so the RGB ones are sprinkled in between, which means roughly one of each of the RGBs every week. Gold Dragons come every 10 days or so, so they're the rarest of the bunch.
It's not too bad that you missed yesterday since it wasn't 2x kings. If it's exp you're hurting for, running Metals and feeding off-color isn't a bad idea at all. You get around 0.8 Kings every 15 stamina, and each is 50k exp off-color. It's kinda what I did for two straight events, doing nothing but hunting Jewel Dragons.
Your box does fill up quickly with the normal dragons, though, if you don't have the Pengdras and Dragon Plants to evolve. It's why Gungho almost always runs Pengdra Village on Thursday, to make people stone for Stamina or expand their boxes.

Suddenly not too motivated to work on Kirin and Horus subs anymore, since I have all components for this:
Bastet / Echidna / Valk / Angelion / King Shynee / Bastet
Neat, bastet suddenly viable end game now? I have a level 30 Bastet.
Also my Genbu is 78 now >:3
You'd need 7 combos to hit 48x. Six nets you 37.5x, which is barely better than the standard Valkyrie 27x (due to colors). A 27x combo with Bastet would be inferior.
Only just got my Highlander, after 7 Berserks. I'm not even sure I'll use him. -_-
Due to colors? Huh?
The basic idea is that a Bastet healer team does not take full advantage of the orb changers, whereas a Valkyrie team does. The numbers below are just rough estimates to illustrate the point.
Two sample teams:
Valk x3, Echidna, Angelion, Shynee
Bastet x2, Valk, Enchidna, Angelion, Shynee
Ignoring Enchidna since she's on both teams, all of the Valk team is light damage, outside of the sub-type colors. About 75% light, 25% green.
The Bastet team, on the other hand, is slightly green-heavy. Around 55/45 in favor of green.
The problem becomes apparent when you do Angelion > Valkyrie burst. Roughly half of your board is going to be light, but only a small fraction will be green. And that's not even considering the fact that light damage is almost always superior due to descend boss colors and light be unresistable in general.
That's why even a 37.5x Bastet burst may not be much better than a 27x Valkyrie burst. And a 27x Bastet burst will definitely be inferior to a Valkyrie's.
Coupled with 2 additional heart-breakers on a Valkyrie team, the Bastet team has a lot less going for it other than a big multiplier which is slightly misleading. I'm definitely excited for her, but on second thought, she may not be replacing the current leads as easily as I initially imagined.
EDIT: Fixed numbers a bit to be more accurate
I just accidentally rolled from the REM instead of the PAL :/ I got a Dino Rider, which isn't the worst considering I was building a Mono-red team by Anakron's advice, and it is an orb changer, but it is certainly not what I wanted to do.
Still sucks
Well, at least he does wood > fire which nothing else covers (that I know of). Rolling accidentally happens to a lot of people, so at least you got a gold out of it. Maybe Gungho will buff the riders eventually.
Was all excited for this event... finally get a Highlander/Berserk and the 2x skill ups from Poring Tower. Turns out 2x is still pretty shittyI guess I'll just be happy I went 2/2 and didn't keep getting the same one. Now if only my Hanzo was leveled up and I could get a Valk.
Edit:
Just pulled a Minerva.... What are these good for again? XD Can't think of a dungeon where I would want to use her.
Decided to do a couple pulls:
Loki
Hades
MIK
Freyja
Guess I'm finally going to use up all my King Metals
Did 13 pulls. Kept Neptune, Loki, Baal, Archangel Metatron, Sea Serpent, Hatsume no Tsubone, and a Toyceratops (replacing the one I already had).
Up to 3 Masterings so far. Just need 2 more and my Mastering army will be complete! HO HO HO HO HO....![]()
Why have I not seen this done yet... It seems like a ridiculously fun (maybe boring?) team to play. 168,750 HP with 6x and at max skill you can almost keep cycling orb refresh if you get a match. I must investigate this further.
Just realized the team cost.. jesus this would take a lot of dedication to pull off.
Quick question:
Awoken skills stack, so if I have 5 with +orb awoken skill (20% chance per monster) does that mean its a 100% chance that any orb of that color will drop with a +?
Pretty sure that's true, though it only affects sky drops. Converted orbs will not get the enhancement (unless it was the same color orb originally there). i.e. top right orb was a enhanced fire orb, and if after Suzaku's active, it's still a fire orb, it will remain enhanced
I think i've finally gotten bored enough to put this game down for good. Had a solid 10 months or so on it. It's awesome when you're still progressing and whatnot, but once you reach the end of normal and technical dungeons, it just becomes all about waiting around for descended dungeons...all of which I've beaten :/
