Agreed. The tutorial is what gives you the stones to roll, though. It probably has something to do with their programming of the game. Could easily be circumvented if they mailed them to you like they do with the event stuff.

I spent weeks rerolling before I got anything decent.

That seems to really only happen at the start as everyone is going through the tutorial. I get maybe 3 invites a week now.

My ID is 332,973,239. I usually run a Byakko, but I also have the wonder twins. Have not started using them yet, but if you ever need a second as a helper for some reason let me know and I can switch.

All the guides say shes good, but not awesome, but takes a lot of work to get her really good.
From my limited playing so far, hearts are nice, and I don't like to convert them, but that's one of her things.

Also, I saw a lot of Fire and Water orbs in the dungeons my first go through, Wood wasn't very plenty. Is this a thing, or was I just imagining things?

Basically, only use the PAL Egg Machine when there's an event going on. You can go into the Machine tab and look at the notes. If at the bottom it says like "PAL Machine Includes Tamdara, Keeper of Rainbow, etc." then you know it is a special event and it's worth rolling. Otherwise most of the time it's best to save PAL rolls cause 90% of the time they're junk.

I find that Wind (Green) is the weakest of the colors in the game. As for Artemis, it's up to you if you stay with her or not. I've only been playing for about 3 months now but this is my observation.

That said, her leaderskill being 2x HP/ATK is very good (I run Batman as my leader simply because he's 2x HP/ATK for my Dark Team, not cause he's really that great). She also orb changes which is a really big deal later on. It's simply her color I feel that's holding her back as most of the really good creatures synergize better with Yellow, Purple, and Red. A quick glance at what late game teams she's best with shows a bunch of other Rare Egg Machine Only Gods so you'll have to get really lucky to get the same mileage out of her than if you rolled something like Bastet in that color.

Again it's your roll but on my iPad, I went in with the mentality of if I didn't roll something like Lucifer, Horus, Bastet, Isis, Byakko, Suzaku, Genbu, Seiryu, Kirin, or Kushinadahime I would reroll. Though my original account (and my main) I didn't roll anything at all (I got a vampire as my starter) and I've made it past Hera Descended which basically is the very beginning of "End Game"

I see quite a few people using Artemis. She would also be a good sub to Bastet if you are able to roll her later on. I'm not sure Wood/Green is necessarily the weakest, but maybe less prevalent. It really seems to be a "flavor of the month" most of the time with this game. One month everyone wants Chinese gods (Byakko, Seiryu, Kirin), the next they want Bastet, before that was Horus, now its Umi&Yama.

Personally, I'd stick with her and then you can use her as a sub later on if you roll something else. It should get you pretty far into the game and does not require combos to activate the skill. Paired with another, similar helper you should do well.

If you feel confident in your ability to make combos of different colors then you can go for a Chinese god like Kirin, Byakko, Seiryu.

EDIT: Mina, You can either use them to increase your storage space as you acquire monsters that you need to use for evolution or hoard them until a Godfest and try to roll for another gold egg.

1. Monster Box Space. Can never have enough space honestly. That said, I wouldn't go "I have 12 stones, let's get 60 box spaces right now." Only really increase the box space when you absolutely need to and don't want to throw out anything rare. Only you can figure out how you want to handle box space. Find out a system that works for you.

2. Rolling Godfests. I think this is much better for a newer player and it's how I was able to clear a lot of content I was stuck on cause I didn't start the game with a God like most people do. Basically, they'll announce via Facebook/Twitter/various websites something like "On 1/11/14, there will be a Godfest. You have an increased chance to pull X, Y, and Z during that time."

Just look at what has an increased chance of being pulled, see if it's something you like, and throw your excess stones at it. You can always tell a Godfest is going on because the Notes I talked about before will say it. Also the REM Machine button will say "GODFEST LIVE" in Gold Letters on it.

Edit: Also for the purposes of leveling/feeding things, always feed things that are of the same color to get bonus XP when you feed it.

As a good rule of thumb, try not to feed anything that will cost more gold than the XP you're getting (i.e. If it costs you 4000 gold and you only get 1000 XP out of it, it's not a great value. You're better off selling it or giving it to another monster unless you're super wealthy and don't care about burning through all your cash to XP this). Doesn't seem like much now but when it costs you like 50k+ for one level. . . yeah.

I get it kinda I think! The boys have been helping me clear a lot of content--just passed the Tower of Giants. My huge fear is that if I get hit by things, I go down very quickly. So it's overkill them before they overkill me situation.

I'm not sure what to keep or sell or whatever but I will stop feeding for sure for now. The boys cost 3000 gold to feed atm and everything is suuuuuper low on the exp returns.

At least they're lv31 now? Hehe?

Sell most of the fodder you are getting for now. The exp you get from the monsters you are feeding is minuscule and using more money than it is worth at this point I'd imagine.

To level up Umi&Yama, you'll want to look for the Sapphire Dragon dungeon when it is available and try to get the Kings to feed to them. The other method is Pengdras which you won't really have access to farm until after you beat Castle of Satan.

The last method, which I used for a while, is to farm Carbuncles, goblins, and ogres in Sea Cave Mercury. Feed the goblins and Ogres to the Carbuncles so that they will reach around lvl 10/11 and in turn feed those to Umi&Yama. You always want to try to feed 5 at a time because as their level increases it costs more to feed them.

Toki, why do you need a Siren friend to do Wednesday dungeons? Are you doing resolve/healer? Can't you just make a mono green with Droid dragon or something? You can friend my Shiva account from earlier if you'd like as well.

A good general rule to go by is never feed things if it costs more gold than you get exp. Since your UmiYama started at 30, it'll be a while before you get much that will feed for 3k+ exp, so you can leave him at 30 for a long time.

At the early points in the game, very very few dungeon drops are worth keeping. Ogres are good for a resolve team early, but that's about it. Titan and Golems might be the only thing you can gear early that's worth keeping.

Just get a few Ogres, Knights, or Carbuncles for UmiYama's color requirement, and feed those a bit. Don't feel bad selling away monsters if they're too low to be worth much exp.

The game is very overwhelming for new players, so feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Ah, ok. Well, add my Shiva account if you'd like. Just toss some random red monsters together (preferably some orb changers), add my Shiva (it's level evolved and 58), and you should be good to go. Stall for 22 turns while hoarding red orbs at the bottom, then activate Shiva, and sweep everything.
