I rolled some more using the money I saved by quitting smoking and got, among the trash pulls and semi-decent Gala fare, a Hermes! so naturally it's team-building time. all opinions and thoughts are welcome. here are the two teams I'm thinking of building right now:

Andromeda
Hermes
U&Y
Muse
Kamui

not perfect, but it's the best I can do right now and it's quite good enough at that. Kamui, U&Y and Muse all need to be replaced eventually but work well enough. Muse's active is a nice one-time burst that helps ease the pain of only having three row enhancements. in any case, Hermes and Andromeda were made for each other, look at those actives lol

as for Ronia... I'm thinking:

Ronia
Ronia
Ronia
Pandora
chibi lu bu

chibi lu is the only one that really needs to be replaced eventually, and he's still very strong in the meantime. my only concern: is that too many Ronias? I feel like I'm splitting too much between red/dark but then again I might be overthinking it. and of course, Pandora won't work until uevo, so it's either Cerby or Pierdrawn until then depending on RCV requirements.

one last question: what is the best way to level dark/light units? I haven't run into any dark/light pengdra in the technical dungeons and I seem to remember someone saying they don't show up.

I would do Ronia x3, Lu Bu, King Baddie. I think you could also replace Muse with Siegfried down the line.

ok. just curious, why would you choose King Baddie over ult-evo'd Pandora?

For your ronia team I would toss in a King Baddie for the 3x atk, it's huge and in some battles it is nice to have 2 atk enhancers. Before I had a Lu Bu I used Lilith for the 1.5 atk enhancement. If you are going with a Lu Bu friend leader then 3 Ronias in your own team isn't terrible with enough other row enhancers.

Right now my Ronia team looks like: Ronia, Ronia, D/R Lucifer, Lu Bu, KBaddie, Friend: UEVO Ronia

I've gotten some pretty good luck from the EVO PAL machine. So far this machine my notables are Light orb, Dark Orb, Blue Orb, KoG, Red Trifruit.

I need 2 more red trifruits to UEVO my Ronia since I used my first 4 on Liu Bei UEVOs for my Verdandi team. So my day today is being spent on Trifruit farming, but the blue/green trolling is real.

Actually, looking at it now...Ronia x3, Pandora, King Baddie might be better. I didn't notice she gained the Devil subtype on her new uevo.

damn that's good evo machine luck. I'm getting trolled... two KoG is all well and good but I have nothing - NOTHING - that could use them lol. same with the red jewel. sigh... maybe someday

yeah, pandy's ult evo is looking hot on a Ronia team, at least I thought so

other than special dungeons, is there an easy way to level dark/light units? or do you just feed them pengdra and cry over the lost XP?

You can get Light / Dark Pengdra from the coin dungeon Pengdra Village / special Pengdra village.

For the most part I just fed all of the T5+ dungeon fodder mobs to level up. After spamming weekend dungeon master when I was around rank ~100 I never had to worry about coins. Any color fodder is decent up until around level 50, then I tend to feed any color pengdra and do Super Metal Dragon Descended dungeons for the big exp.

Yea I've had good luck from the EVO machine, but I had ~8k PAL points saved plus the 2k bonuses from twitch event and challenge dungeons and earn around 750-1k per day, so I've gotten a lot of pulls on it.

Ugh, this godfest was disappointing. I got Persephone, but my 4th GOdin and 5th Grape Dragon. Could be worse but...ugh.

I agree for the most part. I did get Hermes and Pandora, who are both good subs for two of my main teams, and then there's that third Ronia. but I also got TWO fucking Phoenix Knights, another Grape Dragon (not bad but I don't really need another one), Zweihander, Creuse, Kurone... it's like the Godfest never happened and all I got was Gala shit lol. nothing awful, but nothing amazing either. not gonna lie, I fused the two Phoenix Knights into my Homura. I could have saved them but I was just so mad and he's fairly useless anyway in my opinion

edit: pulled again because I wasn't satisfied and got Skuld and another Hermes. suddenly my Andromeda team got a lot more serious. complaining gets drops, I swear... oh and I got Anubis, lol. he's a weird one.

So, I don't think I good a definitive answer from earlier, so I shall ask again.

I'm really just starting out, and I want to know if I should spend my PAL points now, or if I should still wait for another PAL EVO material event (not the current carnival). This is my Box, so you can see I really don't have much atm. I can EVO Plesios and Earth Dragon, when I get more ranks this weekend, so that will be a bit more power. Should I focus on getting the other Ripper dragons, or will I mostly be okay with what I have now, keeping in mind I'll eventually need to beat KoR if I want a good shot at KoL/KoD.

Now is definitely a good time to spend Pal points. Especially early on when you can't farm a lot of the weekday dungeons. The Evo Carnival Pal machine doesn't come around too often.

if not that's cool, my mono-red attacker team is stronger at the moment anyway. just want to start building an Andromeda friend base as I level her team up. also there are certain dungeons (cough Ocean of Heaven cough) where mono-red struggles. right now I have Andromeda in my first slot and will be evolving her come Tuesday.

Decided to roll a few times last night and got a couple nice things ending with another Lu Bu. Combined with an off color Snow-globe dragon great and a great on some super kings was able to get it from 1-99 and awoken in 4 feedings today.

Now my Ronia team is pretty beastly for KotG farming:

have any of you accidentally sold a really valuable monster?

was hungover this morning and sold Skuld while clearing out my box. really disheartening. I'm going through and favoriting everything I want to save now; I thought the "are you sure you want to sell this monster?" screen would prevent this kinda thing but I just plowed right through it.

kinda upset. Skuld + Hermes = a full blue board for my Andromeda team. Muse will have to take her spot for now... and while that's not a bad thing, it's nowhere near as useful imo.

sigh. kinda wanted to quit... for like an hour lol

if you've ever done that let me know. it would make me feel better.
