Just to reiterate, best friend selection is a pretty important, because resets only come once or twice a year. It's a valuable tool, and it's up to you if you want to use it to give your early/mid game a boost. I don't plan on switching from Verdandi anytime soon, and Verdandi is still relevant for at least 80% of today's game, so you're safe on that front. But it does remove your ability to form a triangle (where you basically gain two best friends for the price of one) until you get a reset.

You should honestly just save your best friend feature until you solidify a good endgame team with a relevant lead. Verdandi won't take you very far, maybe midgame at best, you'll struggle with most endgame content, and won't even have a shot at clearing some.

And forming triangles are pretty pointless too, unless their leads are fully latent awoken. .

You want to use your best friend on people with niche leads, not random hypermaxed leads you can find everywhere.

It's guaranteed. The dungeon comes back about every other event, so it's a great boost for new players.

100% drop. Yeah, we might be getting it again too soon. I have a JP account and they got it like 9 times now. I think we are on the 5th or 6th time.

Qalbert, run a few times of this dungeon to get yourself a few golems. You can probably only do the lowest difficulty, but with 2x drop rates, they should be dropping quite often. They're not the best monsters in the game, but they're useful when starting out.

of course it turns out that Summurd is 100% better and I never even use Skuld but w/e


anyways, the real news here is...


ANDROMEDA UUUUUUUUUUVO


I was a little underwhelmed at first but I'm starting to come around. 1K HP is a lot, and double that because you're going to be running dual Andromedas. 5x doesn't seem like a huge increase over 4x and the requirement of using a staggering 10 orbs (16 if you want two rows) seems painful at first, but any Andro team is going to run rows for days which should make up for that and then some. I think she's gonna be a powerhouse, honestly... probably not quite S-Tier, but definitely B+/A- which is better than the fail-tier she's at right now (as a leader - she's still a good sub and will only be better in that regard as well). My team is Andro/Hermes/Hermes/Hatsume/flex with flex being Karin or Isis/Rinoa depending on the need for bind clearing; in most dungeons that means I'll have 15 freaking rows.


So yeah... I'm kinda excited :D

Yeah now that co op is out, it's gunna be pretty sweet. A lot of fun things are happening. It's super weird that NA got these changes so quick too, usually it takes forever.

Coop has been a blast so far. Even running Endless Corridors. Funny trying to arrange teams with people without matching leads.
