Well typically by the time it matters you have more than one team. You're kind of forced to given some dungeons restrict orbs anyway.

Shes one of the lower on the top tier list for rerolls but still one of the like 5 best for this godfest especially for low moves.

Horus and Bastet are spike teams, which are harder to play, and also less flexible in terms of team building. In general, I would rate Saria as better than either. Bastet may have a higher ceiling if you have the right cards (but you won't for a while) and the skills. If you're asking if you would ever use any two of the three together on a team, then no, you wouldn't.

As for Saria being on the low end, what list are you referring to? I found the list below, and even aside from it being somewhat questionable, I don't think the cards are sorted within a tier.

If I started with Saria now, I would start saving stones, and wait for the Player's Choice godfest sometime in April before considering spending money. That would get you a nice pool of units to work with. Saria would easily carry you for a few months.

Alright I was worried I couldn't build around her as well and that this was my best chance and best godfest to spend the eggs on. I used that tier list too and the reddit guide has her super high but also gives her less stars than say nords.

Bastet is, in my opinion, the best beginner/intermediate lead you can get. Combo 5 is something to strive for, and you only get better. Bastet can take you a lot further and has probably easier farmable subs too. The best route for starting out is rerolling into Verdandi or Vishnu and then hoping for bastet imo. Vishnu is fairly easy to activate and he hits for a decent amount of damage as well. Verdandi is just good in general.

Yeah thats why I was debating dumping for bastet.

Your best bet is to see how good you are at matching too. Some leads are amazing but only if you are capable of matching extremely well. When I played L/L Ra I was sweeping bosses in 1-2 moves but it's hard to appreciate just how tricky it is to match all 6 colors/hearts consistently until you try it.

Bastet is a very easy to use lead because just getting high combos is very easy to do / teach yourself to do. Even more laughable in dungeons where some colors are restricted. I remember taking Kushinada into tricolor dungeons and skyfalls would consistently cause like x64 - 100 multipliers.

The problem with Bastet is that her active doesn't do much, beyond activating the LS. Unless you get really lucky with the board, you can't burst with her active alone. So you're essentially left with four actives to work with, where you have to split between burst and utility/defense (e.g. Susano).

On the other hand, Dragonbound teams have the bursts built into the leaders (like the Norns), and on top of that, you still have four actives left. Many Dragonbound teams can completely leave out defensive subs as well because they're just so damn tanky. If you run out of actives on a Dragonbound team, you can tank until they're back up. If you run out actives on a burst team like Bastet, you're likely dead.

As I mentioned earlier, Bastet may have the higher ceiling if you get close to the ideal team, but the new Dragonbounds are much more flexible and forgiving, while not necessarily weaker. I'm not saying Bastet is bad, and she's arguably the most flexible Egyptian, but for somebody who's sitting on Saria, I would absolutely not recommend rerolling for Bastet (or any other lead, for that matter).

Ehh, I carried my friend through Z8 legend in Co Op with Saria/Thor. It took a good while as the team does not really do damage unless you blow a bunch of actives. It's a super tank damage with a 1 shot burst. But when it bursts, oh boy jeez. You can stall for all your skills pretty easily, but that does kinda take a while. There really aren't many farmable subs for Thoria either... You have L Valk, which is good, but now rows. Whereas Bastet you can get Chuchulain, Zeal, Cauchemar, just to name a few. Thoria's farmables are like, L valk... Verche... Ehhh? Nothing with rows, which is really really important. So in a vacuum, Bastet is the better lead to aim towards when starting out due to relative ease of farmable subs, but Saria is a much better introduction to the game. Verdandi/Urd is still a lot better though, but rerolling f-ing sucks so bad.

EDIT: Holy crap, the Zeal and Co's Uuevos are really good farmables. Like REALLY good, wow.

Hmm...I actually never paid attention to Cauchemar, because I've always had better REM subs. You're right, that is quite good for Bastet. Would be a nightmare for a new player to skill up though. But Saria's active is at least as good as Cauchemar's, so I can't really say that Bastet has better farmables. I mean, hell, here's a farmable Saria team doing Arena (admittedly with a lot of +297s)

And yes, I see what you mean with Bastet and early dungeons. You just combo, and things die, and for that Bastet is probably better than Saria. But when you start doing descends, Saria would be a much better choice.

The new mystic knights are indeed quite good. Just missing SBR, but you can't ask for that from a farmable.

Z8 is a really really good lead if you have the stuff. I find him to be incredibly fun. He will be a sub and a lead. It was actually not that bad to skill up for me. The Co Op 40 stam one is super efficient for it. When Co Op first came out I was like oh man this is a perfect time to skill him up cause of 2.5x. But I was bummed cause I didn't know anyone. Then it dawned on me, I have an A bastet team on my phone and my ipad... So I just free rolled it a whole bunch, easy mode. 100% clear rate too. I almost skilled up the one on my ipad, but I guess I got a lot luckier on my phone.

I get the feeling my account isn't going to get restored before the end of Godfest. Not sure how many Magic Stones I had on the account anyway but would have been nice to get it back before it ended.

Also sucks I can't run multiple accounts on my phone (my phone can't be rooted apparently) otherwise I'd play 2 accounts side by side.

Hurray, they restored my account! They actually did it whilst I was mid-playing.

Not sure if it was a coincidence that they restored like 3 minutes after I registered the new account to my gmail account. I wrote down the restore code for that new account too, I wonder if I can shift that onto a different gmail account since it did get some pretty good starter pulls (Zhuge Liang, Water/Wind Brave Blades and I got a lot of orb changers from PAL machine)

Time to see what I have since it's Rank 167 and my last record of it was at Rank 156

EDIT: So much fodder in my box which I clearly must have been saving for skill ups but I have no idea for what. Or maybe because I'm a filthy hoarder. This is going to take some sifting!

Oh nice there ya go. If you want 2 accounts, you could play the JP pad. It is in JP and you can't switch it to English... So it's kind of annoying at first. I only kept with JP cause I rolled ridiculously well with my first couple rolls. It's fun and you get all the updates and collabs and stuff, but it not being in english kinda blows.

Sad that 10x is going away tonight. Last day for 10x was complete shit with Kaguya-Hime and Zeus Dios. I don't think I got more than 3 tops per run. 3x +eggs in normal dungeons goes until tomorrow night at least. Managed to get four 297's out of it though so I'm a happy camper.

Not bad. Fallen Angel Luci is really good right now and you rolled an Okuninushi to go with him. Not a bad spread imo.
