Oh come on, just entered Phantom Dragon King figuring it looked like the easiest level up dungeon. Meimei invade on Floor 1 so definitely can't tank a hit and I can only activate a 20x combo. Maybe 40x combo if I get a good combo length. But god knows if that will be good enough at level 1 to kill a Meimei.

EDIT: Nevermind, procced a 40x and it was enough to kill

EDIT2: Man this dungeon is annoying. Did everything fine but then didn't get the orbs to proc on Heavy Metal Dragon before he hit me. Not like just bad skill by me, wasn't physically possible from the boards without skyfalls. I know it's beatable, just need the right boards.

EDIT3: Gdi, I didn't realize he could blind and I can't take a hit. If I had known that I'd have taken a screenshot before he did it so I at least knew what to do. That is annoying as he's probably beaten if I didn't get blinded.

Yeah the lvl up dungeons are really hard, I love them. I cleared Dragon king with A bastet, a lot of fun lol. Now I just need to clear Scarlet with A bastet

I actually got worried on the winning attempt because I one shot every round and then realized on the 9th round that my Amon CD might not be up when needed to force Return To Zero.

Ooh I thought you meant Nordis. Yeah Z8 is a sweet dungeon. It's easy up until the boss, then it's super punishing lol.

Wow Linthia was hard as balls. I mean I got bad boards but that was still really hard. I wish I had done it on Mythical because the extra HP wouldn't have made a difference and I could have Ra'ed the extra stage

So not so fun fact.

If you have an Agdrall (or similar Toy Dragons) that you pulled from the old school REM then it's worth 3k monster points. Until you get it as a drop from a dungeon at which point it reverts to 1 point. And of course I only realized this after causing 2 Toyceratops, 2 Agdralls and a Shardran to revert to 1 point.

I assume it's true for any card that used to be REM only but now is farmable. 3k points until you get it to drop and then changes them to 1 point. Would have been nice if they warned you about it. Dunno how easy Monster Points are to get but to lose out on 15k is pretty sucky when I only have 33k.

EDIT: Actually it's possible I mixed up an Agdrall with Salamander. Not saying that did happen but that would make the whole thing make a lot more sense.

So I'm in tomb of the saint and can barely use half my dudes cause of low rank - what should I grind to rank up or just keep pushing through shit?

Keep pushing through if you can.

If you do want to grind Tower of Giants > Dragons of the Tower is the best stamina/exp ratio at an early level and that's the 3rd stage in 2 dungeons time. That offers 309 exp per stamina whereas everything before that is like 50-200. It also goes on half stamina at weekends I think. So vastly more efficient than anything you have available right now and not that far down the line.

If you can to multiplayer dungeons, those are worth a shed ton of exp. I don't think they'll unlock until after Castle of Satan though which is generally the first 'wall'. Probably far less of a wall nowadays though given the huge power creep.

If you haven't done the experience boost in the special dungeons, then do that asap. It unlocks when you get to 30 stam.

Took a quite a few runs but finally got Tengu to drop from Descended Carnival. And now I have realized 2 issues

1. I don't have the mats to evo Tengu (not such a big deal)
2. My Jewel Of Waters are somewhere in my Mailbox. My monster box is practically full. I did not do the challenges, etc in order.

I know there's at least 1 Jewel Of Water in the box, possibly 2. I just can't see how I can find it without flooding my box with mats I won't use in the foreseeable future.

Awoken Orochi looks so good on paper too!

Having a hard time breaking higher than 100k for some reason with A.Shiva for the tournament. Might try A.Sakuya. Blargh. Awoken Orochi is awesome for blue/physical teams when you need a delayer.

Hehe.. Apparently the B/B Orochi is best in slot for Ra Dra teams in Arena2... Well when his awakening buffs hit at least. I will have to try out the ranking dungeon :O.

Just did the ranking dungeon and cleared easily but got orb trolled so bad. Maybe Ra/Kirin isn't the best combo for it.

Was averaging 9.2 combos so doing well on clearing boards but it just never gave me the orbs to activate them so ate up way too much time. Only 55k points but I'm 100% positive I can massively improve on that if orbs stop being a dick, potentially double it.

EDIT: Second attempt, same team. 109,704. Might retry because the Flampy is probably useful. Doubt I can break the 20% barrier though. Should probably sub out the Echidna for something that hits harder.

Did like 6 runs and that was actually my best run. That bowl dragon thing is a whore and a run ender really. I clear every time but his jammer orbs and then potential orb change move the very next turn too just fuck up your entire run when you're running Ra. My good run above actually got a skyfall to proc Ra/Kirin for that mob but got 2 bad boards on Gigas.

Tried it with a combo lead too but just not enough damage to get a good time with it.

I think I could potentially get 140-150k but it is entirely reliant on proccing Ra/Kirin virtually every round and also get a good skyfall round 3.

@Jem congrats, that dungeon's a bitch. Zaerog's first form is literally impossible if you don't get the right board (although to be fair you can conserve orbs from the previous floor) which is kinda bullshit imo.


finished my first pentamax today. surprisingly easy; why didn't I farm these latents earlier? #feelsgoodman

Grats! I'm sure the ults are being revealed slowly as the collab draws near. Yuna was revealed after the new batch of characters. Hopefully they update their outdated LS. Would love for them to be relevant. I have a pentamaxed Squall needing some love. (Moar TPA's prz!)

one can hope. Squall is the underdog MVP of FF collab... good active, good stats, decent awakenings (needs more with ult obviously). I love Rinoa too, although she can't compete with Isis in bind-heavy dungeons.
