REALLY glad the LS are being updated for relevancy. REALLY sad the new ults are adding so little to their awakenings...especially for being 8 stars, but I guess there's time for improvement.

That Yuna seems crazily good. A 7 combo 4 color match for 8x multiplier? That is manageable on virtually every single board without much effort. Compared to Ra where I have to hit all 6 colors for the 8x multiplier.

The Sephiroth looks really good too.

about to finish my second pentamax. legendary tech farming is such a nice change of pace from the usual grind. although now I'm wondering if I made a mistake giving I&I HP latents over ATK latents... but ATK latents come from Ilsix anyway and I'd rather minimize that hell. I might skip it altogether and try to nab them from predra infestation.

I have 3 light Valkyries, 2 of them came from REM back in the day and the third is from the recent descend challenge.

I did a YOLO pull myself after your post. Got Antares. No idea if he's even any good or not but I guess his active has uses in some dungeons.

Valkyrie Rose REM pulls that takes me back lol. thankfully light valk is no longer in the REM. I think she was the only descend boss that ever was.


Antares is good; if you have the right subs he makes a good tanky leader, and he himself is a good sub for a lot of dungeons like you said, especially dungeons with skill lock.

I need so many evo mats it's not even funny. Managed to evo R.Odin and Tengu twice today but had to pass over evo'ing Kushinada and Skuld. Almost got the mats for Awoken Orochi now though, just need to enter/re-exit on the Holy Beast thing today until it gives me the water one. So potentially painful. May leave it until tomorrow though as I need a ton of dubs still so might be more productive farming that today.

I also feel bad not abusing the half stamina multiplayer dungeons. As from my understanding you get a freebie God at R250? So probably in my interests to spam the high exp multiplayer dungeons and get that rank whilst I can. I'm only R187 right now though.

There's 1 at rank 150 and 1 and rank 250. They are from different pools though, but still really good.

I actually tried spamming Zaerog for exp but anyone who says they clear that dungeon 80% of the time with Ra (which is what I saw listed), is a filthy liar. Too much potential to get orb trolled on floors that can one shot.

Got my Jewel of Water though and got Awoken Orochi. Not sure what I'll do with him yet but I'm beginning to get the makings of a passable water team which will probably be my go to team when I don't want to think about Ra procs.


Is there any consensus on what to do with the Py's and latent Tamadras? Have a few of each kicking around. I assume you can just use the latent Tamadras on any U.Evo or do you have to meet criteria first? And can they be removed if you decide to switch around the latents at a later date?

Ah so basically a few are good but most are balls. From what I can see:

Damage Reduction and/or HP - For HP Checks
Attack - For TPA's
Skill Delay Resist - For those annoying skill delays

I guess TE's might be desirable too but I honestly feel like I have enough time already. I think a few of my cards already have it native (I think Ra and Kirin both get 1 a piece?)

You only put HP latents on things with ridiculous HP. Like Ra Dragon. A Orochi, Blue Sonia. Otherwise, dmg reduction ones are usually better.

TE's are very miniscule as they're 0.05 seconds per awakening, so you'd need to load up the bulk of your team to see a significant effect.

latents can and should be ignored until late game for the most part. the impact they have is useful but minimal except for a few rare cases (Arena, Arena 2. lol). ofc if you get free latents from predra infestation or w/e then use them as you see fit.


- Y'shtola double finger double sb o.O hell yes. FANTASTIC Sarasvati sub, great card all-around.
- old FF card boosts are nice. Rinoa's bind always felt too costly at 2 turns; 3 turns is a big improvement when there are SO many 3-turn binds out there (and so few 2-turn).
- Vaan is obviously an Ilm/Tsubaki sub. and I mean OBVIOUSLY.
- Shantotto is fucking insane on Awoken Pandora (or any other dark row team). Jesus Christ.


Overall it seems as though Gungho was well-aware of how much of a joke the FF collab was previously and decided to make it relevant in spades. They absolutely succeeded... I am impressed.

Gave in and made Ra Dragon. The fucker's gonna take two goddamn snow globe dragons that I don't have to max level. I only have one DKali so I think my team is gonna be RaDra/Indra/Chocobo/DKali/Isis or something for a while.
