I think its midseason finale, that will only be 8 episodes. Maybe some specials until season 6.

Lol also Patrick Warburtons son is here dressed as Shore leave
Please said he was yelling "Sphinx!"
Also nice to see the next season is pretty much confirmed.
Now that I am on a computer I can explain a little bit more.
Doc Hammer said that they could only do 10 episodes and they wanted to do an early episode between seasons so they did the Halloween special. Then the season premiere was an hour long so that counted as 2 episodes so that's why the season is only 8 episodes not including the Halloween special. Because of this and the fact that there was too much going on in the story to resolve everything in a 30 minute episode, the finale will just feel like a standard episode with not too much getting resolved. They are going to save that for the S6 premiere which should hopefully either be a 2 parter or a full hour.
As far as the finale is concerned they did give us two clips as to what will happen:
Spoiler: show
Other than that, the panel went pretty fast because Adventure Time and Regular Show both ran over and they needed to make time for Children's Hospital. It was ok though because Doc Hammer stated from the get go that they didn't have anything to really talk about since the season is done and they are working on writing for the 6th season, so they just answered a bunch of fan questions, one of which was finding out what a "Rusty Venture" is which Doc Hammer explained is:
Spoiler: show
So Brock was right and Colonel Gentleman as also partly right. Whoo.
"Who the fuck is Gary?"
Wow that season went by fast even for being 9 episodes long. Pretty good ending though.
Someone post pics of Patrick Warburton's son dressed as Shore Leave lol
New Venture Bros. Special Coming
Better than nothing I guess.THE VENTURE BROS. SPECIAL – Space. The final frontier, where no one can hear you scream, revenge is only served cold, and the drinks are comped in the casino. Join the Ventures–and pretty much everyone they’ve ever crossed paths with–as they rocket to the Gargantua-2 space station for an epic, hour-long adventure that will change the Ventureverse as we know it forever. Created and directed by Jackson Publick and written by Publick and Doc Hammer, both of whom also provide voices for the special, The Venture Bros. Special is being animated by Titmouse, Inc. The half-hour animated special premieres on Adult Swim later this year.
Happening in 2 hours:
Spoiler: show
First up is uncle grandpa and clearance and adventure time
Comic Con did a better job scheduling panels this year and it was easy to get into this one. Jackson Publick, Doc Hammer, and James Urbaniack came out to the spice girls "If you wanna be my lover" however the person in charge screwed up the songs and played the song they wanted to end the panel with so they had to go back and re-enter with the correct song.
Once that was out of the way they explained that they didn't have any new footage from the new season because they were waiting for some cuts to come back from Korea in two weeks, but they did show us a clip from the new hour special that is coming out later this year. The clip itself started off showing Gargantua 2 and then it was interrupted by a news bulletin/Public announcement with an image of what appeared to be Doctor Venture dressed up in costume. Watch and Ward (Guild of Calamitous Intent) provided details warning all guild members that if they saw this man to basically shoot him on site. They argued back and forth between using a flame thrower or rocket launcher, and at the end they cut back to the Gargantua 2 clip as if they basically interrupted the special clip from the special that they were going to show us. After that they did mention that the episode was going to have pretty much every character from the Venture Brothers universe with the exception of Roy Brisbe and that it was going to be a "clusterfuck" of an episode.
Other than that, there wasn't anything else to really report. They just opened it up for questions after 20 minutes and shot the shit for the rest of the panel. Also, I still find it funny that James Urbaniack's natural voice is Doctor Venture.
The Comic-Con panel is up along with the teaser for season 6!
