I got jumped once. The dudes doing the jumping must of sucked because I didn't hit the ground. I just remember hearing the sound of the blows connecting with the side of my head and thinking "what the fuck is that?" and my will to live replied, "you're getting punched motherfucker, block or something!" I put my hands up and tried to find a wall to back up against, but we were in a parking lot and most of them were near the only building, so there went that plan. Out of nowhere this older lady started yelling at me from the street. I still don't know what she was saying, but I ran over and she basically pushed me in her car. She got me a ride home and I didn't realize until I was there that I got jumped. Had she not of been there I would've had to walk to the store to buy a jug of milk to keep my teeth alive after picking what was left of them off the ground. Luckily, the only damage I took was to the sides of my face. At home, my mom said God must have been watching over me, to which I replied "If he was watching over me, I wouldn't have gotten my ass beat".

Whenever I tell people that story they always feel sorry for me, and I'm like "Were you paying attention? That shit was hilarious." Getting jumped is like a rite of passage in the shittier parts of North Columbus.
