No, laser hair removal and electrolysis were for my face. Some doctors want you to have the hair cleared (to varying degrees) down there first, but Dr. Suporn removes what needs to be removed intraoperatively. Thats a HUGE plus (electrolysis is medieval torture as it is, but downstairs would be worse!)

For a while, I couldn't tell when I had to pee, I would just be uncomfortable, or it would wake me up and I didn't feel like I had to pee. I think it has more to do with having surgery, having the urethra shortened, and not feeling it throughout that as a sign. I mean, I now know when I have to pee, but it's not like it was before (the feeling isn't as strong), but that could be due to limited sensation that's coming back.

I guess it feels the same, initially I would have to be careful not to "go" too fast because of the stitches, but they're pretty much gone. The fuller my bladder, the less messy things seem to be, but that's getting better. I do have to "think about it" to get started sometimes if my bladder isn't that full. I pee before dilation, then again afterwards after I douche, to make sure there isn't any lube in my urethra (I'm afraid about UTI's), and I have to think about it to get it going, but it's not hard.

I haven't pee'd on the seat yet, thank goodness.

The only good thing I've noticed (at least with having to pee) is that now when I pee, it's all gone on the first go. Before, I'd pee, and still feel like I had to pee and there may or may not be more left (frustrating). That's it, penis is superior in every other way.

Also, this came up this morning: I asked my mom whether or not it was normal to just pee while having a bowel movement, not even trying to pee, it just happens. She confirmed. It happened to me and I felt like I was leaking (it was kind of funny), but I forgot to ask until it happened again.

When at home I sit down and pee. But I also spend 2-3 minutes too, as I would pick up one of my many magazines and squeeze some reading in before getting up and resuming whatever i'm doing.

Outside/at other people's homes I'd stand up and not go near the toilet seat lol

But I can sometimes churn out a poo while doing it (i.e. I won't feel like I need to go, but when I sit down and then pee, the bowels somehow move a bit and then suddenly I can poo). It saves time overall

I sit down when I pee at home about 25% of the time, and elsewhere 0% of the time. Usually that 25% is during a hangover or general periods of exhaustion, or after sex/jerkin when I know my stream is not reliable
