Not every new system is up for discussion. When asked about Materia, Yoshida confirmed that it will be implemented for testing in phase 3 and will be very different from the previous system, but he would not comment further. Jobs are also coming in the future, although they will retain much of their prior functionality.

My XPS 15z has the NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M and i played the Alpha on Medium - High settings with little difficulty. Ran 1.0 too on medium but ran the system very hot and was choppy at times. You should be fine!

Holy shit.. that exploration trailer. I really like the new sprinting animation and all those little details they've added.

In the second video (a tour for eorzea part1) you can see mini-mamets, a mini-bomb.. following characters and at 7:54 on the left there is a hume wearing a head gear with skin of white lion or something like that, like a lion mask.

Sorry if this is old info, I just haven't been keeping up. Any response is much appreciated.

Was never useless vs Warrior, different classes have different strengths.

Edit: In fact, they show the Warrior off-tanking in one of the videos.

In terms of 1.0 design, of AV, CC, Garuda, Darnus, and Ifrit X, Warrior was only the "best" tank for two of them. However, that was debatable because the two it was "better" for it was only better for in more proficient, speed oriented groups.

I very much doubt they will change roles outside of the changes to the TP system and the inherent effect that will have on the 3 "DDish" classes.
