It's related to patching the client, and if you have the client you would have access to the beta forums and would be able to view it. Otherwise you'd just get denied access.

If that's the case then I don't see any reason to leave the link in place, esp. considering how easy it should be to find with the search function. Going to edit my post now to save mods the trouble.

Technically even acknowledging you have access to the beta in any way is a violation of the NDA.

I'm pretty sure the mods can take care of NDA monitoring without the NDA White Knight Police constantly posting, "OMG YOU'RE BREAKING THE NDA". If you really feel like you need to be a snitch, then use the report post function.

To be really frank, they don't give a shit if you want to generate some vague generic hype from you saying you're in Beta. They said as much in Alpha (oops better ban me now). Just as long as you're not doing blatantly dumb things like hosting pics of the game, talking about content in a way that non-testers should have no way of knowing, or (on the extreme end of stupidity) streaming your gameplay.

If it is NDA breaking I'm sure a SE rep will poke sono, and then people will be killed left n right that have posted... secretly... ( ﾟДﾟ)y─┛~~

Don't worry, everything that "may" be possibly NDA breaking, is reported, and the mod team checks with others/sono etc to see if it is or is not NDA breaking and act on it accordingly...
