    They have started to add 'leather' nuking stuff since VW thou; athos hat, thaumas hat, and tessara saio off the top of my head. We'll probably be seeing more of those in the future, especially with RUN in the mix.

    The number of 'leather' jobs that care about nuking gear is actually equal to those that would on 'cloth' nowadays. BLU/RNG/COR/RUN/maybeNIN vs BLM/RDM/SCH/GEO/maybeWHM.

    Guess I could see COR and NIN, though the former got more love there between card shots and specific AGI/MATK stuff. BLU's on a lot of mage stuff, so while it got some leather things here and there, it's not exactly left wanting. RNG's mythic WS was pretty lulzy, but I'd argue COR gets more out of WF from the Emp end.

    Honestly, RUN is looking all kinds of weird in terms of what Gear they can wear. From both the NA and JP streams, we've seen RUN fencer wearing:

    We didn't see RUN on the heavy armor Adoulin Gear. But then from the JP stream we got this little gem which to me is weird:

    That last bit is the abbreviation for RUN.

    So based on the screenshot, RUN will not only be on light melee gear, but possibly mage gear. The only reasoning I could think of is if RUN's Lunges are modified by MAB and therefore they are put on some mage gear?
    I'm pretty sure I saw Fujito wearing the heavy orange armor set in one of the JP streams on youtube, and he was on Rune Fencer to my knowledge (since I've only seen him on that in the streams I've watched). The one where they're in the poison swamp zone and they knock down the giant palm tree to cross.

    They were instachanging jobs, when he wore the heavy gear he probably switched to something else(notice how he lost the mp too).

    I know this has been already covered a bit.. sorry but what are all the spells that are confirmed for Rune Fencer so far? I remember the ones from that game article but I could have sworn I saw some more during the live streams. I'm just thinking about going ahead and buying certain ones today in case I have to pay more later.

    Was it Regen IV? Could've sword it was Regen III, and I'm pretty sure it cast Flash too.

    Rdm is/was very self sustaining thou, I don't think we've seen any way for RUN to heal itself natively outside of regen.

    Was half hoping Rukkirii was on DRG on purpose to troll us by showcasing all the new things they added to make DRG not fucking suck anymore. The fact that she didn't call her Wyvern even once yet was using Soul Jump was so annoying. It would have been hot if she purposely didn't call out her Wyvern but did it at the end and show that DRG's Wyvern can now be grown to adult size(since the Adoulin DRG from WoTG Achetelle has one).

    We haven't but it would be really odd to have that spell list and no cures and could just not have seen it because well they always full hp... then again this SE so who knows lol

    Having regen by not cure doesn't strike you as odd? Or all those defensive enhancing spells?

    They talked about RUNs spells in some articles before these videos, and all they mentioned were the enhancing spells, spikes, and flash. You'd figure if they had cures it would have been brought up.

    It's also thematically interesting to have enhancing but not healing.

    Not as useful, granted. But it's interesting from a design perspective. NIN can't heal itself without subjob or party, and they probably consider self-healing to be PLD's 'thing'.
