Missed my delivery from Fedex. Time to ride public transport through Chicago to pick up my 770. If I don't post numbers tonight, you'll know what happened.

The train went off the rails its a crazy train?
No Ozzy, just black folks with guns and knives.
It's taking Fedex so fucking long to deliver mine.
Well. Mines boosts to 1215, which I like. Scores though meh.
1080p score stayed the same. 1440p scored jumped to 5523 over the 4935 my 670 pulled.
I expected more for the 1080p score, 1440p satisfied me though. Still think both should be higher.
Maybe I need to set my temperature caps higher? Should I be doing a fresh OS install with a new card?

Sounds like your processor is capped out if your 1080p score did not increase.
Just reran 1080p, got a lower score of 7615. I am running a 3770k stock. During the benchmark, my CPU usage never went above 35%. Idk what my issue is.
Spoiler: show
So I'll play on PS3, but I wanted to test my new desktop, so for shits and giggles I ran the benchmark (in windowed mode).
Never gonna get the top spot, so may as well shoot for the bottom, hope you get a chuckle out of it.
Spoiler: show
All components currently running at stock.
CPU: i5-4670K
GPU: NONE (technically Intel HD 4600 integrated graphics)
RAM: 8GB
HDD: 7200 RPM HDD
OS: Windows 7 Pro x64
Well, no card in there, but that's the midrange Haswell stock specs for you Gulk.
Though things worked a bit better at 720p, still gonna run it on PS3 though, even once I do stick a card in the machine.

Just got my 770 finally. Got an extra 400ish points. This is with stock settings. I probably won't OC it though. Running furmark puts the video card at 80C and that scares me lol.

I am trying to figure out how to increase the thermal cap for GPU Boost 2.0.
Have to run it again to get SS but i got a 6500 with a wd green hard drive and hd5770 card on 1920x1080 maximum. Seems like its definitely a processor game. New hard drive and video card going in this weekend so i will run a before and after test.
In the beta, I am running around 40 fps in cities, 53+ outdoors (Mostly been in Gridania), at 2560x1440. I think I will just chalk the benchmark up to being unoptimized still.
Overlocking the processor does help the scores, but I wouldn't class this game as a heavy handed processor driven game. It helps, but it isn't a make/break deal.
- My AMD 5870 average low 6k scores.
- My NVidia 780 average mid 9k scores.
Both with the same i7 3770K overclocked to 4.6k with speed step turned off.
I am RMA'ing my 770. Going to get a 780, probably the new ASUS DCU II 780 model. Or the EVGA ACX or Windforce. Though I must say I am a bit disappointed in the cooling from the windforce on my 770. I saw temps going up to almost 80c while playing bf3.
So I see a lot of people using Nivida cards, does the game not handle ATI cards that well? I'm running Xfired 6870's right now and will probably run a benchmark when I get home.
I'm running an OC'd 7870 and it runs great seems atm nvidia cards may run it better tho.
If you search back in the thread, I'm using an overclocked HD7970 and my score was in the ballpark of 8600.
