Dat Titan.
The benchmark only calculates scores while it is actually rendering the engine. FPS meters are activated when you enter into certain applications( games or benchmarks) that utilize graphics engines and what not. The FPS meters will continue to show whenever an applicable applications is active. Depending on the game, you could get a capped frame rate during loading screens and menu screens or unlimited frame rates, Vsync determines this in a lot of cases.
That said, during the benchmark w/o vsync, I get several hundred FPS during loading screens. Those frames don't count, but it shouldn't be dropping to 17fps.
@tyche
Your 660 ti was killing it last bench wasn't it? You were getting like 8k scores weren't you? or do I have you confused?
Cute name.
And this is supposed to be an AMD Gaming Evolved game? Starting to feel better about switching to Nvidia, too.
Not bad for $650ish budget rig I just built, nothing overclocked: AMD FX6300 3.5ghz, 16g ram, GTX 660 (2gig)
Lots of folks told me to spend the extra cash on the TI but it would have broken the budget, got a crazy deal on the 660, been super impressed with it.

I would have gotten 8gbs of RAM and gone with the 760 or an i5.
The ram was also a retarded crazy deal, that was basically buy 8 gigs get 8 free. I hear ya, but doing almost anything diff would have broke the budget, it's not state of the art, but like i said the 660 has been working great so far on everything I've tried. Got another 100+ points running in fullscreen, updated pic.
Why are there 2 threads lol... anyways xpost:
650 budget PC, not bad imo, AMD FX6300 3.5ghz, 16g ram, GTX 660, nothing over clocked:

other thread is older and exists since the original ARR benchmark, this thread created when the latest benchmark released
makes sense wise one. are scores seeming higher or lower this time around? or the same?
scores from this benchmark are higher cuz of reasons i dont understand
i also dont understand reasons for diff threads either :<
should really lock the old thread then... or combine them
MOD POWERS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 (GULK)
Not too bad for maximum 1920x1200 windowed fullscreen. Wonder if having it on my ssd or disconnecting my second 1920x1200 monitor would improve the score, not that I'll ever not be using at least two monitors.
I'm hoping the item is re-obtainable and not just a once-ever thing for legacy players.
Being able to redesign our characters (with limited frequency) is something we really should be able to do given that most people will only ever play 1 character.
