Meh, as someone that lives in Japan I can say the snacks here are meh. Occasionally you'll find Melon flavoured Kit-Kats or something but that's about it. 'specially the chips, unless you love plain, plain, consomme, plain and seaweed/plain chips you're mostly shit out of luck.

found sour pickled plum chips once though, fucking life changing.

My school used to serve Taco in a Bag on some Fridays. Loved getting that shit as my free lunch.
