Random Image Thread XL: Mods aren't doing their job

Not bragging that I've become desensitized, it just helps me not be butthurt every time I see something gory on the internet.

What's odd though is anything being done to a human doesn't bother me at all but when it's humans abusing animals, I can't take it.

I feel you. It isnt a desensitization issue, its a "Ive watched this team for years and know of this player as more than a player" type of level. Gore and things of the like have never bothered me, Ive seen friends in RL get fucked up from wrecks, gun shots etc, seen tons of raw footage and pics of this and that etc and didn't bother me in the slightest. Saw someone I loved laying up in a hospital bed with 3rd degree burns over 80% of her body, and it ate at my core and still bothers me to this day.

But I feel you, I mean I saw Al lose his body and Edward lose his arm, Im totally numb to bodily dismemberment and just chalk it up to equivalent exchange.

It's more like, I imagine that happening to me and it sends my brain into empathy mode.

I've accidentally clicked on plenty of things I wish I could unsee, and that weird unsettling feeling never goes away. Idk though, I kind of like being sensitive. It makes me feel like I'm still somehow a good person.

It's also totally different in person. Most of the people that are desensitized would be throwing up left and right in front of the same thing.

Yeah. I watched the video while at work, and didn't even cringe. Then I let it replay a few times. I found it more fascinating than frightening, and I wasn't disgusted at any point. I am, clearly, a bad motherfucker.

Huge amount of Fullmetal Alchemist. I'll tag so it doesn't eat a whole page. Brotherhood is much different. If you're worried about it being too similar, don't. Both are great though.

It's longer than your traditional anime, but brotherhood is literally 1000x better.

It's definitely not that. I basically know the entire storyline already (due to being familiar with the manga's contents, which I know Brotherhood follows), but I've just been a lazy bitch and haven't watched it. Well, that, and I'm trying to get a friend to watch the first series, after which I'll make them watch the second with me. I know they're not technically related, but since the first contains a lot of character development that's skipped over in the second, I want them to see both.

Also, the original series is still amazing, even if it makes up a lot of its own developments and its ending. No reason to let them escape watching that.

This. All of the entire other show (Or at least a lot of its side-stories) is crammed into the first 3 episodes of brotherhood, and from then on out it's completely new and way better, imo. The ending also doesn't suck a dick, like the first show's.

Edit: ah, ninja'd. Yeah, the first show does have a lot of good stories in it that are worth watching. The over-all story arc, though, is stupid. Brotherhood does away with most of the small stories and focuses on the overall arc, which is very good. The small stories from the first show are mentioned as part of Ed and Al's adventures and show how they get to be famous, but they're covered in about three episodes.

FMA brotherhood has to be one of my favorite series, every episode is damn good and actually worth watching. It has to be the best/most accurate manga to anime adaptation, ever.

Bitches cryin over Hughes and Nina.

I cried over Bradley, that magnificent motherfucker. His dialogue during the fight with scar and his last words made the rest of the show seem trite by comparison.

Also so many feels at the Dwarf's last words before being all divided by 0 and returning to the portal, and many more as it was being pulled back inside. Even Hohenheim cried over that shit.
