That's basically what every bigger supermarket around here (England) has (but add in Polish, Pakistani/Indian, other Asian, Irish, Caribbean etc. sections too, depends a little where you live). It's not really so much a particular country's food section as a sales test though. For example: Cereals. Couple of years ago you couldn't find Fruit Loops or Cinnamon Crunch in the "normal" cereal aisle (which is like 80%? populated by American Kellogg's/GeneralMills cereals anyway so all of this is a bit wait, what, why even bother separating them?), you had to hunt them down in the specialty shops/sections. Now they're in the "normal" cereal aisle and we have Lucky Charms/Applejax/Reese's Puffs in the "American" section (at least in the nearby Tesco on my last food shop). I'm predicting in about 1-2 years all of those will be in the main cereal aisle here. >_>
