You guys are just forgetting that the Microsoft analysts approved these decisions, therefore they are smart decisions. Go home naysayers, you are not an analyst.

Xbox One will still sell a fuck ton. And many people that say they won't buy it are going to fold it and buy it once it is out this holiday season. Gamers complain, but they love to game. And most of us posting here--have Internet so the check in becomes less impactful.

I'm sure pirates will find a way like they always do, but until they do--we'll all have a friend that buys one. And we'll check their Xbox 1 out and think: it's not that bad and I really want to play "x" so why not?

There will definitely be people here that falter. It's a given. Especially if Juan gets a release date before the PS4. People get excited over something shiny and this is no different. If Sony is able to get the PS4 on the shelves before MS, MS is fucked six ways from Sunday. I will not be buying a Juan based primarily on the used game issue. It's simply not worth it to me. I can get a PS4 for 100 dollars less that is the better quality machine and still do what I've always done with used games. I fail to see how anyone could think this is a difficult choice to make. DRM or no DRM. 499 or 399. Always on/connected or it's a brick or playing offline as I choose. This is the easiest decision I've ever made when it comes to consoles.

It's sad because when the 360 and PS3 came out I was in high school and didn't have enough money to buy both, so I had to pick the PS3. Back in the day I owned both an Xbox and a PS2. Now I work fulltime and had been looking forward to jumping in and buying 2 consoles this generation.

But I'll say it now. As long as MS has these shitty always online and used game policies, I will not be buying the system out of principle. I'll get my rocks off by spending money on the PS4 and the Wii U.

I really doubt that. There is to much shit with Xboxone and issues. I had a xbox and xbox 360 (and a gamecube somewhere around and a PS2 at some point), I am gonna flat out ignore xboxone and go with a Wii U and maybe later with PS4 if there are enough games out that interest me. I would have considered xboxone at one point if it would have been able to play my 360 games I have on it(and MS wouldnt have done so many fuck ups lately), but alas I cant play my 360 games on it nor my xbox live arcade games, soooo... I need to get a new machine anyway, why go for the garbage one that is more expensiv and doesnt even let you use used games to try out.

I am also not a fan of sensor type bullshit like kinect or wii remote etc. Thats why I skipped the Wii and thats why I dont have kinect. Xboxone seems to have a hard-on for sensor things... Nothing is optional, I dont want crap I dont use/want.

The Apple/dumbass consumer status quo crowd may buy it, but, depending on the amount of damage control they can do before release, it will not be a successful launch by any means.

Microsoft is getting clowned on so hard by every media outlet, even the casual lemmings will reconsider buying a new shiny out of fear of being on the wrong team.

These guys are really on a roll with bad PR and if they don't change their attitude AND reverse a ton of policy(price slash would help, too), they might dig themselves a hole into some tainted obscurity that they won't get out of in this gen.

Well, I guess it is because MS doesn't want to compete where it knows it can't win, but they aren't even trying. The one thing that MS trumpeted over and over was the total sales of the 360 over the PS3. It's just kind of mind-boggling from a global marketing standpoint.

It's like MS wanted the Xbox One to turn into the ultimate meme.
