Ask I said, Microsoft is more than welcome to continue the path they were on with the digital downloads. They're choosing not to. People getting mad about changes should be mad that MS didnt find a way to keep the good bits. It wasn't difficult.

This. MS just proving every one was right, they want steam money but don't want to give steam value. They're getting all the backlash they deserve even though it'll still sell cause for some reason people aren't fatigued on halo.

Regardless of changes still not touching an xboxone, those things never mattered to me personally. Saving $100, more power, PSN+ value, better exclusives and cross play for vita is what sold me.

I still don't know why Microsoft can't keep the internet check off, while keeping all their advertised functions.

Coping out saying they can't do Steam-like sales without an always on-internet? Steam can go offline for quite a bit and it doesn't have any problems offering 75% off games. Don't give me a "maybe I'll do it," make it absolute truth that you'll do it. Who says they can't do "huge game universes?" Make it a game-by-game thing and leave it up to the developers if they want an always on for silly games like SimCity. Restricting used game sales also has barely anything to do with Gamestop either. Yeah, I can save $5 on a used game, big whoop. The entire "used game" argument comes from reselling on craigslist or even borrowing games from friends/renting from redbox or gamefly. I don't want to pay $60 for a shit game like Star Trek: Into Darkness when I could pay $6 for a three-day rental and actually save a headache.

You download a PSX emulator on your phone and play games, of course. I use it to play Tales on the go, among other things. It's partially why I really don't need anything other than my phone when I'm out and about and want to game.
