What kinds of differences are we going to see between PS4 and XB1? I've heard the RAM and GPU are better in the PS4 (and more of the RAM is dedicated to gaming versus the OS), but I don't know what this effectively means.

Marginal for multiplatform games, first party games (after this first round) will have a larger gap as time goes on. Most dev's don't know what to do with 8 gigs of ram since they have been working with around 1 gig for years.

You're gonna have to cite that, because I'm calling bullshit. The only thing that was ever said about the 360's RAM was that Epic fought to have the RAM upgraded before system specs were finalized.

You clearly don't understand how mass production of something like this works if you really think they can pull a sub five month turnaround and completely change the specs of a machine like that. They'd have to literally scrap every unit that's been built so far, or go back and manually alter them, both of which would be astronomic costs.

Well, Xbox One and PS4 will be at San Diego Comic Con and attendees will be able to play games on the consoles, so we are bound to see some public reviews on both. If the lines aren't insanely long to get a chance to play, I might try my hand at both.

Xbox and ps4 booths were literally next to each other at comic con. Xbox one had a game called Ryse and the graphics looked really good. Im hoping to play both consoles tomorrow after my morning shift.
