yeah, pretty much what I figured, but it was literally the only thing I could think of that even might sell a few extras

what I'm really curious to see is how much the new SKU/E3 hype spurs sales
seems reasonable, i don't know enough about the actual numbers to offer any sort of educated guess
to clarify I meant post-E3, like how well the kinectless one sells, if ones with kinect stay in stock too much, if the new cheaper option sways a lot of people to start picking up xbones, and so on
I still don't want one. No one asked, just saying. I am, however, pretty excited about the changes to the paywall as I subscribed to the WWE app a month ago, and let my Gold membership lapse last week. I can still watch it on PS3/4/ but those aren't on our main/family television like the 360 is.
So this news at least excites me. I am still going to be glued to E3 to see what develops. I have spent most of the last 7 years on a Microsoft console, so I am still a little off-put by how much I really don't care about the One. Except for Below, which I still whisper the name of before I go to sleep.
List of games I want on PS4.
Arya style.
The first year or so of any console is probably gonna be boring as shit, and moreso with this generation since it's not really adding anything new (social media/Streaming stuff, but nothing gaming wise).
I honestly feel like the Kinect is the best part of the One now that I've owned it for awhile, but I don't really use it for gaming anyways and wasn't buying it with that intention.
The trends across the board are pretty grim. April's a soft month but when nearly half the top 10 are middle-tier cross-plat/cross-gen Lego games and the best-selling next-gen game did <90k it's hard to be optimistic about what happens when the bottom falls out of the cross-gen AAA games and the market really contracts in the high-budget space. Good times if you're into mobiles and f2p, bad times for everybody else. The Japanese dev landscape is going to be a wasteland for anybody thinking about converting to next gen. *cough* FFXV, KH3 *cough*
E3 came a bit early today, which I am pretty surprised by... I thought Microsoft would wait a week or two to tease Halo 5 more.
"Today Microsoft and 343 announced the next installment in the Halo universe. It's called Halo 5: Guardians, it's all about Master Chief's journey in moving on from the events of Halo 4, and it'll be out in the fall of 2015 on Xbox One."

Absolutely Qal. I was pretty excited by that announcement. It just made me want it on PS4 more, but I like knowing that I will be playing it no matter what.
Which is precisely why the One is not appealing to people for gaming purposes and not selling a lot lol.

Says the Nintendo guy. How's your console selling, Link?
I could give two shits about the Hax Box, but its still selling more at this point than the 360 did, and to have a Nintendo fanboy try and climb aboard the Box Bash Bus is hilarious.
Crabs in a fucking pot, I guess.
