So, in response to that hypothetical situation, if every game on that list is out in the "first months" that is by no definition a shitty lineup, and you're a moron if you think it is. there's several games there that sell really well, Halo, CoD, BF, etc as well as sequels to games with a small but dedicated fanbase, ME2 and BGE2 etc. Add to that the revival of Banjo and KI, and so on, and it would be a stellar launch line up. The problem is that you keep mentioning multiplatform games as if they'll be enough to sway anyone to grab the console.
Halo alone will not save the console, nor wil Fable. The fact is that there is a lot of grey area surrounding the console that people want to avoid for the time being, and while that can change come E3, the current point is that the PS4 is a clear better choice from all aspects, especially the exclusive lineup.
BF and COD and those other titles you keep mentioning will likely be available on Sony's console anyways, and while people just might grab them on the X1 if they're buying the console anyways, the many many MANY problems the X1 already has is pushing a lot of people into Sony's clutches to begin with, and so it doesn't even matter.
And besides, you keep ignoring the fact that half these titles won't be available at launch anyways, so they won't help with pushing consoles.
If it all ends up magically working out? Well that's great, it'll be a pretty decent lineup.

Lionhead Studios have opened an official forum for the Fable franchise a week ahead of the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

The developer invites fans to discuss all things Fable in the forums, “from the latest news and announcements to guides, walkthroughs and fan content.”

Interestingly, there are no new Fable games currently announced to be in production. But with Microsoft’s E3 press conference next Monday and the forums launched today, we can only wonder if we’ll see one there.

I don't think the camera will be bundled in the cheapest PS4.

I would hope they'd bundle it with all, just so developers could rely on the damn thing to be used. I doubt a webcam with dual-1280x800px 60fps feeds costs remotely as much as a 2nd iteration Kinect to manufacture.

If they make it like the PS3's Eye, shit will never get used besides the minority of games that end up having to pack it in, because no one bought the thing.

A small fanbase for games you mention like ME2 have the same problem of not getting new people. I'll admit, seeing a new Killer Instinct would be cool, but that is about it. If you never owned an Xbox or a 360, there seems to be nothing that would make you want to buy an Xbox One.

Even if its real, i wouldnt expect them to all be out at launch. Some will, others will come out a bit later and some will likely be late 2014.

The fact that Prey 2 is on there makes me think its bullshit as that game is in development hell and there has been news now that the game has been given to another developer and that it might not even be out till 2016 if at all.
