Wow... Are these guys serious? lmao If satire, it's not really a great time to be poking fun of "next-gen graphix" with all the rumors about it's inferior specs lol

Wasn't that supposed to be a ps2 game? I forgot that game was in existence lol.
Exactly the point ive been making. Silence is never a good thing, but those with they heads in the sand wont comment of even speculate on this. I hope they dont fuck up too, but if they have a similar plan to MS it will be interested to see if there is a similar shit storm from their die hards.
I idea of my WiiU winning the next gen console season doesnt really instill confidence in me lol
I disagree, silence from them builds anticipation while letting their competition drown in their own shit. The only way them being silent will hurt them is if it turns out they have the same plans or similar to Juan. If they come out opposite like we all hope then the build up will pay off in the best way possible at E3. If they do come out with similar bullshit I will be 99.99% PC only next gen only buying a PS4 after several exclusives I want to play are released.
Let's be real, we all know Sony is silent because throughout the reveal they're gonna be dropping one liners like "no used game drm" or "able to be played with out being online". It's gonna be an amazing show.
I feel like at this point, after seeing the backlash to MS they would have to be out of their goddamn minds to do the same thing, when simply not doing it practically guarantees winning the generation. It's certainly possible that they will do DRM stuff, but it would be a really dumb move on their part.
Sony needs to put some sort of protection because the devs are crying over it. They're going to leave it up to devs and Sony will simply wash their hands.
Same way it does now? 1 time codes, internet checks, etc. I think it's bullshit either way, I am totally ok with publishers providing 1 time codes with their new games or requiring you to pay $10.00 for the online pass when buying the game used to access the online and MP features of the game but leave the offline single player portion alone.
I was genuinely asking BTW, wasn't trying to be a smartass haha.
I suppose working the bluray tech is better than passes... and as far as online play is concerned, it should probably stay that was because it's better than the alternative MS is offering where you just can't trade a game, period.
That's the thing though. You can take the silence any number of different ways. I really do hope it's just Sony's way of building hype. If it's not I can honestly say I will probably not be buying any new system. Even if Sony does go the complete opposite of MS I'm still on the fence about buying the PS4. Baby Noah will be born by that time and I will have finished the game room(hopefully.) So I don't know how feasible it will be for me to drop X dollars on a brand new system.
I typically wait a year or two after a system launches to pick it up so they can get the kinks worked out and there is a decent library available. I'm a Master Race/Sony fanboy, so I am just enjoying the atmosphere at this point.
Yea, coming into E3, MS is working from a deficit. For me, personally MS has not only failed to convince me into buying their new system, they've, in fact, gone the opposite & convinced me NOT to buy it.
Sony, on the other hand, has simply yet to convince me to buy.

Figured I'd post this, since I don't see it mentioned in the thread yet.
Also, over on GAF the mods have noticed it (and have handed out bans for it) since even before the Reddit post that started this latest round of news.
