Agreed. I'm in love with this game not to mention it's absolutely beautiful at 1440p. They nailed it this time. I really hope I can find a way to transfer my save file for when I buy the game otherwise I'll have to start over lol

Being one of the few that actually looked forward to the present storyline, I'm disappointed with the direction they have taken.
That being said, being a pirate is freaking badass and this entry definitely gave some new life to the series (which AC3 almost killed..)

The game is definitely entertaining, but something kind of bugging me.

Seems like the entire cast has pretty pristine teeth, which... yeah, they're pirates. Not so much. I can obviously see why they wouldn't do that, especially given a few years ago with people complaining about the teeth in Dragon Age : Origins, but still.

Update adds native 1080p support

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag has been patched on PlayStation 4, unlocking the full power of your HD telly with native support for resolutions up to 1080p. According to the UbiBlog, the PS4 version shipped at 900p with upscaling. The patch also adds in a new kind of anti-aliasing; Ubisoft Montreal developed both these improvements after the game went gold.

One of the few games i was able to restart (switched form xbox 360 to ps4). Really was hesitant to buy it as i normally won't replay a campaign ever. Definitely worth it now if i can just stop calling it pirates of the caribbean whenever i talk about it to friends.

Blackbeard’s Wrath & Freedom Cry DLC's discovered through trophies

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag’s first DLC set is called Blackbeard’s Wrath. The content’s PS3 trophy list has emerged online, divulging a few snippets ahead of its reveal.

The list was compiled by PS3 Trophies. One trophy descriptor reads, “Playing as Blackbeard, perform an acrobatic kill and a gun kill in less than 10 seconds,” suggesting it’s a multiplayer pack.

There’s also trophies for another DLC pack called Freedom Cry, that offers trophies for freeing slaves. Both packs are yet to be formally announced by Ubisoft.

Never in a million years did I think that I could get back into this series after the atrocity that was AC3... but man it's fun being a pirate, singing Shanties, and boarding ships. Oh there are main missions to play? Yeah eventually...

never played an AC game before. But I got AC4 for PS4 and really looking forward to it after hearing everyone talk about it. Now to finish Killzone faster so I can move on to AC4!

I torrented a copy to see if I could get into it before dropping $60 and it's been amazing. Game runs fantastic and I've yet to encounter any glitches. Bought the steam version last night and absolutely don't regret the purchase at all. Go for it

I ran into some minor graphic glitches on it, but that was before I saw that the game - ready Nvidia drivers were out. It was definitely nothing remotely game breaking though.

How do you disarm people on PS4?

Just missed a side objective cuz i couldnt disarm the 3 guards

Also i keep getting a random mission that pops randomly called catch the courrier

Problem is i dont see anyone lol (is there a marker for it or something?)

The courier shows up as a yellow backpack on the map, but as soon as he wanders out of the very short range the "mission" provides it disappears.

Bought this today from ZeroPain in BG's Buy Sell Trade section for $45. I can't speak for other versions, but the PC version is so pretty and smooth.
