So far for me... I think it might beat out 2 as my favorite entry.
Also. I am enjoying the sea shanty songs way too much... Every island I hit I'm hunting them down lol. I'm gunna get a bottle of rum tonight and wear a big pirate hat to play this.

My girlfriend has this on her PS, and basically that's her favorite part of the game. She actually had to stop playing for a bit because she wouldn't stop dreaming about sacking ships and having those songs get stuck in her head like some kind of rum-swilling earworm.
PS,Spoiler: show
Finally beat this the other day. Amazing game. I haven't played 2 in a long time so it's hard to complain but it's definitely one of my top 2 favorite AC games now. Gonna miss the ship world in future games.
Anyone who liked this game should check out a new show called Black Sails on Starz. First episode was on saturday i think, and it was amazing.
Is it sad that I got this at Christmas and still haven't played it? Silly baby ruining my gaming time!
I just beat this game last night. Really enjoyed it.
I'm at 51% currently. I really like the game so far. Aside from AC2, they all seemed to loose steam for me right around the 50-60% mark.
This game keeps getting better and better though.
tbh ACII was really the high water mark of the series so far. I do love the naval aspect of III and I'm positive I'll love it in IV.
I've never played any ACs before, but I think I'm going to go back at some point to play the previous ones.
I liked ACIII but if the naval combat wasn't in the game it would have been pretty mediocre at best. That's the problem when you have a main character who is stale and boring as shit.
Conner was a G.
Conner only suffered from being too realistic imo. I'd elaborate but usually feels like I'm wasting my time when I do.
Also as much as I'm liking this game, it has the worst free running in the series imo and I'm getting tired of this notion Ubisoft seems to have that they have to keep dumbing it down.
I totally understand the too realistic argument, especially if you consider what was going on with him during the story. People often consider Ezio the series' best protagonist and fell asleep when Connor was introduced. He was a little to realistic and never really caught me 100% you know?
