Iunno, I still enjoyed 3, so I'm excited.
Wonder if it's gonna be through Desmond though, I'm hoping we're done with him...
I havent finished revelations yet, but is the original story concluded yet? I love the gameplay and plot but I see where this is going...I dont wanna get stuck on the assassin version of CoD if they plan on milking it for every dime while dragging the story out. Ill just stop now before I get more invested then I already am.
without being too spoilery, just talking about story beats
Spoiler: show
Guess i got no choice but to play till 3 and see if I wanna keep going. =(
The background plot with the aliens is horrible and should've been never there.
not technically aliens
I'm still butthurt they ran Prince of Persia down to the ground, I actually enjoyed those games. I hope they get a slap in their face like SE did
I've been exhausted with the series since I finished Revelations, but I do hope for the fan's sake that it's as less unpolished/rushed as AC3 appeared to be.
Apparently this game is done by a different team the ACIII and has been worked on for a few years now.
Yeah, they're, without a doubt, the worst thing to happen to the franchise. Which is kinda sad when you consider they started in ACII, which is the best game in the franchise..
in all honesty they could just bookend the games with "new assassin being trained in animus" and leave it at that and I'd be ok.
oh also, posted this in deal thread, but will post it here too, for today only:

Ubisoft has announced Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, which introduces a new coarse heir to the century-spanning action series. As you can gather from the artwork, the sequel shifts to an era of piracy and formidable pistol-to-hand ratios. As the packshot gallery below shows, the game is so far confirmed for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U, with the PS3 version including "60 minutes of exclusive gameplay."
Joystiq will have more information and opinions about Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag on Monday. We'd love it if you checked back then to learn about the game's protagonist, goals, and guiding principles.
