I dunno, I have concerns that they're going to try too hard to recreate the Ezio experience in a new environment and Edward will end up being Ezio v2. Yes, Connor was less likeable than Ezio, but he was a different character with different circumstances. Connor's flaws didn't help AC3, but he was not what made the game much worse.

I was gonna say they'd have to do some major changes to the engine since Edward wouldn't have the same mobility Connor did, but 6souls pictures show him jumping from trees, so I guess he will..?

AC3's landscape was beautiful as fuck. The only thing wrong with it was the player physics. However, Assassin's Creed in general never had flawless player physics, its just that this game it was worse than usual.

He just didn't really feel like the badass assassin to me. I remember one quest where he had problems with killing someone. And I just had to shake my head and be like, someone's missing the point.

It's honestly debatable whether Connor was truly an Assassin though so that doesn't really matter. Connor reminded me of Altair but an Altair that we never got to see. Altair wasn't really known for his personality and we're introduced to him when he's already a master assassin.

Connor to me was a guy who wanted to do right within a world that he didn't fully comprehend and because he was so ignorant of the world, he was not always able to make decisions that the player such as you and I take for granted. I know I did some pretty dumb shit as a kid and I imagine most people posting here did as well. However, by the end of the game, he starts realizing how foolish he really is. This is even more apparent in a secret monologue that he has that wasn't in the main game (might be in a DLC later on, who knows). Connor has a decent amount of depth to him, it's just the presentation of it wasn't that great.
