Dad picked up this Android based Smart TV box in Asia a few months ago. It has stopped working. I don't know much about the Android market but what i understand this tv box runs Ice Cream 4.0.

I've tried plugging it into my PC and it doesn't detect anything? Will I need to find the IP of the device and somehow get root access?

I may need to reinstall and/or upgrade ICS. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to do this. Thanks BG.
