I have a video where I'm trying to get rid of an annoying background ticking noise. I found a few programs where you select a part of the video where you hear the sound (and nothing else) and it removes the sound throughout the whole video. only thing is, they don't seem to want to work with an mp4 file.

I know I could go about converting the mp4 file to a usable format, but wanted to see if I could find an editor instead just in case I need to use it again in the future.
