The next one should just be a bunch of Fassbenders playing their flutes like snake charmers, only with facehuggers in their pods instead of a snake in a basket.

Word on the streets is that there are about 20 mins. worth of deleted scenes. Also, the 'reveal' scene was different. Supposedly David gets in touch w/ Weyland and gives them the heads up about the Xenomorphs, which woulda answered Paul Riser's role in Alien.
I thought David was going to force that flute through Walter's head when he was teaching him to play it.
I didn't hate this film as much as Prometheus but it still wasn't worth watching in the cinema.
Hubby and I went to see this movie this weekend. An sterling example of bad decisions by the crew of this ship. Left me with a bad taste in my mouth after watching it. I guess if no one makes bad decisions then we don't have a movie.
Spoiler: show
It has become ubiquitous. TV, movies, everything. Plots only advance when someone with 30 years of experience and regaled as the top expert in their field decides that it's a good idea to transport a deadly bacteria in the thinnest glass vial imaginable in Times Square or some similar shit.
Remember in Alien when the crew took all of the reasonable precautions and the writers had to create a believable situation in which shit could go wrong anyway.
It's tough to defend a shitscript. That said, the writers have some amazing credentials (Logan, Gladiator, Skyfall) and a stinker here and there (Green Lantern, Transcendence).
Anyway, check it out: David's Drawings of Shaw. Really interesting stuff, and I'll say it again: poor Shaw, what a gruesome way to go. Now she's become Death, the destroyer of worlds.
How did Shaw fashion David a new body when all she had was a head?
She took the body with during end of Prometheus. Slumped it over the ATVs they were cruising around in throughout the movie.
The name change of the movie was a clear indication that this was not going to be a sequel to Prometheus but rather a Prequel to the alien series and honestly it failed in both regards. I wanted a sequel to the better parts of Prometheus not this crappy horror scifi CGI garbage.
Literally everything Prometheus was building up to was bombed same as they did in StarWars Ep7.
Just saw this hot garbage out of boredom.
Spoiler: show
It's hilarious how it shits on Prometheus which was godawful, but also shits on the original Alien all at the same time lmao.
How about more prequel-sequels instead?

Ridley Scott is planning up to 5 sequels to Prometheus, so we've got at least three more unaccounted for, but Scott probably didn't want to give too much away.
It's ok, he didn't read the thread.
