I hope this is better than Human After All.
Seriously considering the vinyl...
http://www.iammusic.tv/news-daft-pun...cess-memories/Daft Punk ‘Random Access Memories’ the most anticipated album in the last fifteen years, hands down, has been confirmed this week and I have some exclusive facts about the album that believe me when I say you won’t hear anywhere else readers.
After agreeing an astronomical fee with Columbia Records, Daft Punk began to manifest what is without doubt going to be another timeless pieces of musical perfection. Entering the studios with Nile Rodgers the legend himself, at this stage we can only imagine the sweet soulful sounds that levitated from the studio upon their arrival.
So as the majority of the scene push back into the 80′s in search of disco inspiration to disperse across the modern dance floor, I can tell you from a solid source that the french duo from Paris have moved their craft back to the times of 1970′s middle decade disco vibes.
The biggest addition to the album that will leave most faithful fans watering at the mouth, American rapper, producer, fashion designers and overall music mastermind Pharrell Williams will be featured on ‘Random Access Memories’. Pharrell linked up with the duo & Nile Rodgers in the studios and placed vocals on three of the albums tracks, which personally this information means I cannot explain how absolutely ecstatic this make me feel!
Viral Marketing
Since when does Daft Punk need Viral Marketing? Doesn't it literally market itself?
These are great though.
im already addicted to that "love key" song they keep teasing >:I fucking hurry up and release it already
I've listened to it so many times now. I am really diggin it.
this album can have my babies
I can't wait.
I didn't like the idea when I first read they were moving away from electronica and drum machines, but they make a great point in trying to stay fresh and moving away from the dead horse that techno is today. However, most techno today ISN'T what techno was in the 90's/early 2000's, they could easily make another album like their Homework/Discovery and still sound fresh lol
Just that minute or so is enough to say "Hey, that feels like Daft Punk"- even though it's not the same lines they drew on their last few works.
And that's good. It's catchy. It makes you want to listen. And it keeps the artists fresh, too.
Loving this track the more I hear it!
So excited for this release.
I fucking hated Human After All(I know, broken record) but this sounds amazing. First album I've been hyped about in a while.
Ps there are rumors flying that the single is coming out this Monday but I don't know how accurate they are.
That would be awesome if true.
Here's hoping!
