Hmm, how does distance work for subtarget? Am I missing something cool?
I haven't really looked into tinkering with battlemod yet, but I was wondering if the following scenario is achievable somehow.
I would like to use battlemod to still parse all the lines that doesn't involve any numbers (say, slow landed, or something was erased/dispelled), but I want number-related messages to display on screen instead (damage taken, damage dealt), like if you change it in the config to "on-screen" or "both". If anyone knows how to go about this please share!
Oh darnthank you for letting me know though!
On a side note, is this because battlemod catches/parses all the lines in the game? There's no way to tell it to selectively ignore certain types of messages and let it display per system spec? I thought that might be the case because the numbers that show up on a target is completely disabled as long as battlemod is on. Or is it because FFXI itself has some kind of parser for displaying those and the modified message that battlemod spits out doesn't work with it?
Scoreboard is currently stuck in the top left corner, with no grey background that distinguishes it from the scenery. This is a sudden change from before, and I'm wondering how to fix it.
Ahhhh I thought you meant the addon subtarget. but you mean just the lil blue arrow subtarget?
I dunno why but pointwatch seems to be completely ignoring per character settings now. I had tried deleting it and letting it remake the settings file but doesnt seem to work. I also havent rebooted ffxi in a couplee days if anything new was fixed.
Just like someone else (Indalecia?) reported a few days ago, I noticed some strange behaviour on SMN and PUP concerning pettp (addon).
On SMN I was very often getting "Unknown" as pet name. On PUP the same happened but after 30ish seconds it would change to the pet's name.
Also sometimes it would not load up at all when I activated my pet, but then after 30ish seconds it would appear on screen.
No lua error at all, just this strange behaviour.
And another thing about Autocontrol. In theory you should overload if you reach 100 in a single element, correct? That's how I thought it was meant to work.
Twice it happened to me that I overloaded at like, 65/70 or something like that.
It's strange because it seems to be working correctly overall...
I'm currently working on upgrading Scoreboard to some newer libraries, which should fix a few bugs relating to the textbox.
Also, as I said before, Distance always shows the distance to my current target (<t> unless <st> is available). I'm not sure why it's not working right for some people.
No, you can overload at whatever your threshold is, which is based on your gear. 30 base, +40 for emp+2 body, +5 for other maneuver macro pieces. Autocontrol doesn't know about deus ex though, which messes up its tracking. There's a few other things I'll look into fixing also.
Luacore updated earlier, getting an error with gearswap now, preventing it from loading.
Gearswap: Lua error (unknown: 1) - C:/Program Files (x86)/Windower4//addons/GearSwap/GearSwap.lua:333: unexpected symbol near '.'
Thanks, fixed and pushed. I was in a rush to add a feature someone requested and made a syntax error (at work). It should work now, and now I expose Indi aura information when it is relevant (size, element, and target). As a disclaimer, this information will not be available if you load GearSwap with an Indi aura up (until the next incoming 0x37 packet).
It loads now, but the console is getting spammed with some Runtime error, its getting cutoff because im playing in 800x600 so i can't say specifics.
Edit: Every change of gear is causing this runtime error, even manually changing gear.
Err... under what conditions? It's working fine for me.
It was happening on 2 characters, one just sitting in town and the other in alza underseas about to enter salvage, ill relog in a minute to full screen so i can see the error message.
Oooh I thought things worked the other way around. Like there is a fixed threshold of XX and overload gear reduces the amount of burden generated by each maneuver you use.
Makes sense, both times it happened when I was naked in Salvage so I couldn't swap stuff.
Since you seem to be knowing a lot of exact values, do you know if Foire Dastanas/+1 have a different value compared to the NQ low level Puppetry Dastanas?
And nice for Deus Ex, I reported it some time ago. It wasn't a big deal in the end, but it will be awesome if it gets fixed ^^
