That Buffs are causing it still an hypothesys.
But whatever it is yes, never had any sort of issue, except a long time ago when BMN was sometimes causing pol crashes.
It's been the first time I've ever seen that runtime error with the green popup.

Happened twice more just now, and I wasn't really overflowing with buffs. (I keep losing most of them from crashing.)

For some reason whenever I disconnect or terminate Windower I will keep disconnecting every 3-5mins or so. I can use Playonline or browse the internet just fine. Any solutions?

    How does Pointwatch's XP/HR work?
Does it take into account the amounts you get from other sources (chest in abyssea, RoE trials etc) or just the XP from mobs?
I'm getting "30.7k" which is to say 30700 experience points per hour and that's clearly way off.

It did not work in abyssea until this morning. For whatever reason, the abyssea xp message is a different packet than normal.

Yes just updated and it worked like a charm. Sorry, was my first time using PW in Abyssea.

Echandra on my server, Asura, kept having my issue at Yumcax. DCed plenty of times.
I haven't seen the issue again for the time being.

When the "Runtime error" wants to happen, it happens several times in a row, and relaunching POL doesn't solve it.
I've noticed though that if you stay away from the Naakual and fight lesser enemies, it won't happen again.
Also, Echandra noticed that to break the "series" of runtime errors, you can reboot PC. He claimed it always solved for him, and whenever the error happened he would reboot PC instead of relaunching POL, and never saw the error again.
Is there something related to Windower that changes when you reboot PC? Some cache value? Some data in memory? In some temp files?

His might be just a coincidence of course.

My Runtime errors were not just when around a Naakual. Would also happen in delves when fighting some of the T1-4 NMs as well, and I think it also may have happened once in Ark Angels Very Difficult. I haven't tried rebooting my PC when they happened, just continuously relaunching POL. This, as you said, didn't fix it and it would happen multiple times in a row (sometimes 5+). Needless to say, it's pretty frustrating losing all your buffs/etc and generally feeling like dead weight due to crashing constantly. Curious if there's any ideas as to a fix for this?

It happened to me in Delve as well, twice. Once on SCH, once on BRD.
But there weren't multiple errors when I would get back.
This doesn't tell a lot though because since after last patch I've only done a couple of delve runs (LS on holiday) whereas I really did a lot of WKRs.

I'm sure dumps would help the dev team but I've been unable to get any so far (no more crashes)

May I ask what are the future plans for "Timers"?
Back when the plugin was launched a lot of features have been requested, some of which have been implemented, some others haven't.
The plugin also required a huge amount of manual work to hardcode all the JA lasting times and variations caused by equipment, merits and whatnot. Haven't seen much work on this front either, which kinda makes me think you devs didn't want to waste too many resources/time on this boring and annoying part because you had other (long term) plans for the future?

    And another question concerning Pet_fix.
I activated it only the other day following my storm of "Runtime errors" (didn't fix it, btw). What does this plugin do? Seems it blocks some pet animations or something?
Who needed to use it? I saw a lot of people complain for random crashes because of pets but honestly I never had the addon loaded and never had issues either.

I been having a problem with game hard locking for 10 seconds after zoning since the update. I get a "Lua error (memory) - ough memory". What's the cause of this?

Like what? The only thing I'm aware of is clipping buff names so they don't overlap with the times, which I can do shortly.

Again, like what? The only thing I'm aware of are songs affected by Clarion Call, which I plan to add today. Everything else we add immediately. If there's something we missed, it's not on our issue tracker, and in that case you really can't expect much else.

It's true that we won't implement many more things in it, but we will maintain the current feature set (including hard-coding more gear-related effects) until Windower 5 at least, when we'll be able to make an addon version that handles things better.

That's it, to prevent certain pet-related crashes. It doesn't fix everything pet-related and may have other issues, I'm not very up-to-date on current events to answer that better, maybe someone else can. All I can tell you is that SE introduced a new crash related to pet animation, so this addon removes them entirely in the hopes of fixing some of them.

That's due to the Highlight addon.

The one thing i would like to see is a way to put a darker transparent box behind the timers name in graphical form. on some backgrounds its impossible to see what timer it is. All i saw for options is the back ground of the bar it self i think it is. Having just loaded it up tho it seems a little different than i remember but still something that makes the text part of the timer in graphic = true mode would be awesome.

Premise: It wasn't my intention to whine, criticize the work done or lack the due respect to you devs. Please accept my apologies if I've been misunderstood.

    That's an IMPORTANT issue.
I was talking about some of the little minor things that came up when Timers was first released. Some of which have been implemented (filters etc), others haven't (customizable "numbers" for when to make the timers disappear. Like how long let the buff with 0 secs left stay on screen, which colours to use at which percentages etc. For isntance some old third party addons and the Ashita correspondant of Timers had smart use of colours changing at different and customizable % of the time left)

Spellswise it works perfectly. There's only a few things not taken into account, like some (most?) job points and some minor things like Futhark NQ/HQ legs on RUN (increases duration of Enhancing Magic).
But I wasn't talking about that, more about the JAs.
The great majority of JAs are missing and in the past it was being said that they had to be added manually one by one and it was a huge work and Timers was just released (at the time) so it would have taken quite some time/work for JAs to appear.
    Since then what has changed?

Overall though I wasn't trying to make request (I'd use the Issue/Request tracker) but more willing to find out what's in the future of Timers.
Are you focusing on developing it further, other than "just" mantaining it working, or did you slow down that thinking that it would be a waste of time if in the future a lua-version of timers will be released?
Can we make requests for new feature or should we put them on hold and wait for the new addon to be released sometime in the near/far future?

The developer that made Timers quit about a year ago when SE shat on his Ryunohige and didn't come back when they fixed it because he was already playing other games.

Timers is a fairly complicated plugin. There are a lot of pieces of gear that affect duration and every item ID for those gears has to be entered and correlated with each source of each buff. When you receive Warcry while wearing Agoge Mask +1, we have to only add duration when it was a Warcry used by you and not someone else or Crimson Howl.

No one else has formally taken up the project (several people add new spell things as they're reported on our tracker), so it's not reasonable to expect that it's suddenly going to expand to include JAs.

I wasn't aware of any of these things ever having been requested. I can't find any of them on the issue tracker. As such, they will never be implemented until such time someone requests them

I wasn't aware of it not working for any JAs. I thought it worked fine for all of them. Do you mean buffs you get from certain JAs? If so, see below.

The following goes for every plugin in our repository:
There will be no new development unless it is explicitly requested. And then we will evaluate if it is worth our time. As a whole, every plugin can be considered feature-complete at this point, unless a suggested change is simple enough for a quick update that doesn't cost us any real time. This does not include bug fixes, which we will still attempt where possible.

What we will still adjust, especially for Timers, is adding new items/buffs into calculations for estimating buff durations. But again, it's on a per-request basis. None of us really play anymore, so if you find something that Timers does not account for, you will have to let us know (and preferably be specific about it, not just "add that one item that does something"). If you do, it will probably be added within the day (unless it's about job points, since we still need to implement that system itself).
