Just started dual boxing for the first time since windower 4 came out. Is there a way to stop running around on my second account when I use controller on my main?

This problem happens to me quite frequently when my controller gets unpluged from the pc. Or if there are windower updates it seems to reset the controller of whatever. To reset the problem I unusually just have to minimize both screens or completely terminate the 2nd instance of windower and relog the second character.

I'm getting an error for AutoJoin since I deleted the addons.json to update the Shortcuts addon. It says "AutoJoin: Lua error (runtime) - libs/packets.lua:231: bad argument #3 to 'pack' (string unexpected, got no value)"

Same. Autojoin not working anymore after deleting addons.json. (same error msg as above). Any ideas?

Got autojoin error too, dunno if it because I deleted .jsons or because of today's patch.
The error I get is:

What pets are causing crashes that pet_fix prevents? Avatars, wyverns, BST pets, all pets? I haven't experienced any crashes while playing with a DRG in my party, should I enable it anyway?

I think that is just a controller issue that has been in windower/ffxi for a while. For me it is usually occasionally when i hit alt tab (and not hittin the control stick in any direction) the charcter i jsut left will start going forward or backward usually slow like. Often times i think it only happens when there is a flock of mobs to run into and die. Usually i just have to switch back and push the stick the other way and it stops. the best part is when i switch to stop the one and the other char starts walkin. So I dont think its anything new. Its similiar to when you start up that second instance of windower and get to the main menu and the cursor starts scrolling thru the menu and you have to switch focus to the other window and back to stop it.

gearswap wont load and is broken, i redownloaded gearswap and am getting still the same error, since today (or now)morning:

This was due to an incorrect push earlier and has been fixed a few minutes later.

Question: is there currently (or could there be in the future) a plugin/addon to add a translucent map overlay, like ApRadar? It's very handy and I don't really need/want the other features of ApRadar (plus, it's been broken for a few days now without mention of any memloc update or fix).

I'm having the same problem. Searching spells.xml, it seems that the new RDM spells have no entries.

Have you tried the FFXIDB plugin?

I do like this plugin but it doesn't strictly replace ApRadar 3's map overlay. I'd like to be able to make the minimap larger (to show more of the map, not zoom). Either way, good tip, thanks Sechs!

It doesn't, but for the time being it can be a decent compromise

They are working some things (mainly to add dynamic overlay information on the maps) pulling data dynamically from FFXIDB. If they manage to do that it's gonna get even more interesting.
I too would love to make it larger and to change the shape, but for the moment it's a very useful tool (works in areas without maps as well! Like Skirmish and Delve)

Is anyone that is using DressUp add to use custom gear having issue with character blinking?
When you use the du self head "item", du self body "item", etc command it is still blinking, granted it keeps the custom items displayed but the blinking still happens.
Had to use bmn function to always block blinking and even then every so often a blink still happens.

Did a bug report but wanted to take the time to mention it here as well.

After a recent update, it appears that the statustimers plugin is no longer showing cooldowns where buffs are on the U.I..

As of this morning, Autoexec isn't loading for me, and when I try to load it from console, one of my other plugins crashes with "plugin encountered a fatal error and must be terminated. Error: access violation in Initialize method." The plugin that crashes depends on what I have loaded, apparently. I had TParty plugin loaded, and that crashed, when I deselected it in the launcher, Timers began crashing instead.
