And if you wanna help some more:
http://update.windower.net/dev/Hook.dll
http://update.windower.net/dev/plugins/Timers.dll
Again, no guarantees, don't use during important events or anything. But the two previous crashes should be gone with these two.
Quick test (20 mins) and looks good so far. Quitting the game with buffs active and restarting, then adding more buffs & casting offensive spells didn't cause a crash this time. Getting some sleep now, more extensive testing later today.
Tested for over 2 hours on Bard, everything worked fine.
No blank lines, no strange stuff, no crashes.
Just the old (small) issues I reported some time ago.
A new one I found out is that appearently the limit you set for the number of buffs gets ignored. I had it set on 15 and the Buffs window would display at least 20 if not more.
Small tweakable stuff anyway.
Think you're ready to go live with this :D I'll keep testing all night anyway, I'll report if I find anything.
Well, I crashed once all day, but I did not get a crash dump because Hurkan was at 2% and I was afraid of losing rewards. So I'll keep testing and post anything I get.
timers acting strange. remaining bufftime lines are going further down and down the more i buff
Beta Plugin: DelayMeNot
https://www.dropbox.com/s/jcuq9uv1mh...DelayMeNot.dll
Removes delay on ALT/CTRL macro menu's popping up. Not tested very much, would appreciate if someone could load / unload and provide crash dumps if it crashes on load / unload.
Feedback also appreciated.
Mafai your delaymenot plugin is pretty sweet.
Only problem is it has a side effect for controller users. It took me a few minutes playin around with it to figure out what was different on controller but i finally did. Normally on controller if i hit my trigger buttons to open the macro menus they stay open til i hit one or my cancel button, which i like so i can open my menu get ready for stun, or open the macro menu put it on what i will need and concentrate on moving my character around and be able to just hit my enter button to activate the macro. But your plugin makes the menu go away upon releasing the trigger buttons (so its more like a hold and not toggle) I mean im sure i could get used to it, but if u could make it an option somehow or make it work like before on controllers and keep the no delay on keyboard. If its not possible to fix for keyboard and keep the delay that is ok, since the plugin is totally optional or one could just try to get used to the different functionality of controller macros.
Iryoku just reverse engineered the following file:
http://www.ffevo.net/files/file/184-macro-bar-fix/
The plugin does the same thing. So we didn't actually make this, but just copy it. Figuring out how to make it work like you want is likely possible, but would be more difficult.
After windower updated to the new luacore and hook today, crashes everytime at the EULA screen. No way to revert back to the old version is there?
Are you on Windows 8?
Windows 7. Had no issues up until today.
Today i forgot a ; and got an error that said this exactly:
Wait - invalid arguments. Usage: 'wait X' or wait X Y' with X < Y
what would Y mean/do in a wait statement? also is it sposed to say:
or 'wait X Y'
or is Y' by itself mean something. I cant think of what a second number would do for a wait command other than a range of time to wait that it would randomly pick between.
awesome thanks!
It seems to be caused by casting multiple songs of the same family.
Ballad > Minne > March should work just fine but Ballad > Ballad will fail.
Yeaaaaaaaars ago I used to have a plugin or program (can't remember which) that allowed XI to go cell shaded.
Any chance of someone being able to make a comeback? I think it'd be pretty cool

So nobody else having Win 7 Professional windower crashing POL issues?
Edit - Magically it is now working without any luacore or hook updates? Wtf :S
My Timers suddenly have jumped to a lower location on my window. Should I just delete the config file? It seems that the duration timers drift downward everytime I do something with the window out of focus, not sure specifically what yet.
