Hey guys,

I'm sorry if this already is answered.

I'm getting this error msg every time I try to load lua addon Update and Shortcuts (could also be true for other addons, but not all).

Shortcuts: Lua error (unknown: ') - Program Files (x86)/Windower4//addons/libs/files.lua:29: attempt to index local 'fh' (a nil value)

does this make sense to some smart people, and might there also be a solution for it? Would be very much appreciated, badly need spellcast command functionality back

That has been fixed months ago, I'm not sure why you are still experiencing it. Maybe some update screwed up? You should copy the libs folder from here and put it into Windower/addons/libs/.

Got a couple crashes on dev today, not sure if it's Timers or something else. I had the crash dump type set to full from last time, so the files are pretty large (217MB zipped). Hopefully these will provide more info than my previous ones, which were mini dumps. Here they are.

Unfortunately, no, it only provided one thread (the same issue that Sechs and Subadai were having).

You can try this method, I updated the DumpSetup file, it should now work for the people who couldn't get it to create crash dumps before:

So I bought 16 stacks of skill up books, and figured I'd make a simple macro to use them up. But it just spams all the lines in my macro at once, ignoring the /wait 4's. Then I go and put a 6-line macro in using the exact same commands into the games macros itself. And it works. Why is my windower macro not working? I just use:

input /item "Dark Deeds" <me>
input /wait 4

copy/paste over and over. Tried adding a ; after both lines, or just one of those lines individually, no change in any configuration.

Arcon I forgot to mention it, I don't remember if we discussed it in an open issue on Github or here. Remember my reported bug with Distance (addon) where after going out of range the timer would remain on screen instead of disappearing?
I don't remember when but the issue is now gone, it works perfectly. It disappears at 50

Input sends a command to FFXI. But this is in a script. Which is run by windower. So, if you input your wait, FFXI tries to wait, while windower spits out the next line.

long story short, remove the input from all waits.

Was doin the Plucking Heirs. my mules window was under my mains window so i dont know what happened exactly but i think he just cured me and he crashed. He had been sitting there behind the door at the bcnm entrance for like an hour with no probs. no buffs on as far as i know either. Also I decided to start loading Find again to see if it still crashes me, though i havent set up any on screen displays yet. I figure these dumps might catch what happens if it happens.

I found what plugin was crashed me on load up when all the various plugins load, it was blinkmenot.

I guess i was kinda nodding off there but after standing in place for a while it crashed again. i checked the dump folder and there are 3 dumps there (i only remember the previous one i posted) and different numbers than the one i posted above so here they all are in no particular order ...

Oddly enuf even tho i just put these in drop box 2 of these says it was 2 hours old (when my first was made) and the last one listed here is jsut 8 mins old.

Has anyone else found that GearCollector isn't pulling some of the new gear? For instance, mine doesn't collect the Mekosuchinae Harness or Arendsi Fleuret. I've double checked the syntax and spelling a few times, and it all seems in order.

Ok i think i figured out what the 2 other dumps were from earlier. after that first dump i ended up loggin off both characters to turn off super sampling (was jsut trying it out but it caused big lag). And as usual the game crashed when i was loggin out on both. So that must be what 2 of those are, logging out crashes.

Is there an plugin to know when you're moving?

I want to be able to equip move speed gear when I move, autoexec only seems to be able to change gear when you're engaged or not.

That's not currently possible (at least not without some sort of heuristics, like checking your position, then checking again in a bit and if it changed consider it movement). We could expose the current animation and you could go by that, but honestly it's probably not worth doing it for just that.
