Whats wrong, crappy framerate?

Yeah, drops to 1-2 fps when I load up a second character, worked fine running 3 characters back using 3.4.

You can definitely re-direct specific types of messages to separate text box, but it wouldn't be scrollable like the real game text log.

Don't suppose a plug-in could write to its own txt to pull from, perhaps created when a character logs in? I can understand the actual in-game mouse not working, particularly if you disable it to avoid the screwy spin or things that happen in conquest-type windows, but I could also see plug-in specific commands like "blsu" (battle log scroll up) or "blsd" to navigate the created txt. Could even make versions that allow you to input how many lines you wanted to scroll up/down past a default.

Can anyone tell me why the lights look 16 bit in these pictures on Windower V.4? Everything else looks mostly fine..

The lights are fine in 3.4.

Just noticed I'm having this issue as well. All the other textures are fine, but the lights are FUBAR'd. Is there a solution for this?

This is possible as well and honestly wouldn't be that hard. I don't really want to personally try it though because I suspect I'd end up crashing everyone with memory errors because I wouldn't cache the text often enough or something. Also, the interface would be so clunky that it wouldn't really be usable.

Yeah, I'd say it better for someone more graphically inclined to make it at least look pretty. Though, it being possible is a start.

I had a similar problem yesterday when I first got 4.0 I had 1-2 fps with just my one char running. I ended up having to open up the config and turning on the mip mapping and super____ (can't remember name, supermapping? or something I'm terrible with computers). No clue what they did, both options were auto turned off, but when I turned them on it fixed my framerate. Try that? Hope that helps maybe.

Well I went into the registry and for some reason windower 4 is trying to put my game into 883x553, I had to manually delete that in the registry after opening windower. Any idea why? My settings aren't close to that. Plugins acting weird too as Tparty number is in the chat log.

So, how do I go about making Windower4 look less pretty? I'm having much worse framerate than I did on 3.4. Pretty much impossible to dualbox, playing on a really shitty laptop. Also for some reason F12 isn't showing FPS.

//showfps will work on any version. It toggles the FPS indicator.

Yeah same problem(not the F12 problem) and when I meet too many Geomancers or use Lunge it might crash on me.

Ditto here, I can barely move around in the adoulin jungles with the way it is and i've tried everything in settings to try and get it to stop.
