Is there any way I can prevent windower4 from determining what my graphics settings should be? My laptop has shut down due to overheating 3 times already today, a problem I've never had before except for rare occasions.
Yeah, been looking for a solution to that all day.
I can't seem to run windower 4,I have windows 8 if that helps, the program stops/never goes past/crashed always at "Launching Playonline" I get a "Windower launcher has stopped working" message I'm doing right click > run as admin. I'm already on my 4th fresh install and idk what I'm doing wrong.
Is it possible to move Timers and PetTP on X/Y Axis? If so, then how?
Per Byrth's suggestion, I made a crash dump for my problem with crashing when taking screenshots. Is there a specific person that's preferred for me to send the .dmp file to?
Windower (and all .dll plugins in the same place) has a bug tracker/feature request portal at Github. Just [Open issue], give it a meaningful title, short description and attach your crashdump here:
https://github.com/Windower/Issues/issues?state=open
Really probably obvious one but it's bordering on making it unuseable for me - the game's just gone so incredibly dark compared to old windower and no amount of fiddling can get it back to being useable basically - running through dark tunnels or whatever is completely impossible to see where you're going. Have fiddled with all the settings I can find - but to no luck.
In Bahrain and just got done updating. Has w3.x been fixed to use //commands, or /console exec files (Only gear macros)? I've downloaded w4 but kinda on hold to install it as my desktop is still in storage until I move out in town, and playing on my gimp laptop. Been reading the stories of impossible to dual box and such.
So, windower 4 crashes randomly during a battle only. Anyone else having this problem?
Go to Timer's settings file and use <graphicalMode>false</graphicalMode> to reduce the frequency of those crashes.
Will try tomorrow. Thnx for the quick reply.
