any reason why timers says unknown instead of the buffed char
any reason why timers says unknown instead of the buffed char
Actually, found the reason, I'll have it fixed in a bit.
About time you push live that Timers version you made me try like, what, 3 weeks ago? Which fixed some things among which the "debuff songs" being tracked on the buff part of Timers.

I will, by the way, add debuffs to timers, but probably on a separate list. This version also has almost all JA buff durations implemented (at least the base duration, we're still working on adjustments through gear).
I just realized that Daze addon isn't going to work for anyone that isn't using the most recent actions lib, so here it is:
Put in windower/addons/libs: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vul8fdbfdl...tions.lua?dl=0
Put in windower/addons/daze/: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3nd142m9940r92q/daze.lua?dl=0
I actually went out and played Dancer for a while this morning in JP Unity shouts, and I have to say that the addon (while cool) was almost useless because I never even came close to losing a Daze. Unity NMs last <2 minutes. Two uses of a step was generally long enough to maintain the daze for the entire fight.
It's working correctly now, no words being cut off. Thanks Arcon.
has anyone reported an issue with the Find plugin? Mine stopped working after the December update. i type //find itemname and nothing happens. I tried unloading, deleting, redownloading, and reloading, and it still doesn't work.
Try using FindAll instead. I'm pretty sure we made the decision to deprecate Find, so I'm not sure why it's still in the launcher.
ahh, ok. must have missed that it was depreciated. never tried findall. already liking it more, shows the total number of items.
Yeah, you'll notice that it also searches all your characters (including logged out mules) and slips. It's a pretty massive improvement.
All that said, Find should still work and it is working fine for me. Find still has a feature that FindAll is missing, the ability to create an on-screen tracker that keeps track of certain items and your inventories. I'll add that to FindAll today, and I'll allow FindAll to also use //find as a command, because //findall is stupid.
Go to bed, Arcon!
Arcon's fervor makes me want to come back to FFXI just so I can work on Windower stuff, too.![]()
I still don't see Daze in the addons list Byrth.
I can understand how on short fights it would be useless, but still it would be awesome to leave the choice to users so they can decide wether or not they want to use it.
Ideally you guys could merge together THTracker and Daze. Despite handling different debuffs they kinda do something similar, the same "box" could be used to track both things.
This kinda leaves me to wonder: is there a way to intercept TH level from packets, or is chatmessage the only thing we can grasp current target's TH from?
Think he said he wasnt gonna add to launcher til he got more feedback. you gotta DL the one he posted.
One thing i noticed about findall is recently I only had enough money to pay for my two main characters (i dual box). So i had 5 mules that didnt have active subs. Well I noticed after a month (seemed like a month exactly) from when I wasnt able to log onto the mules anymore that findall suddenly stopped knowing what items were on them. which was kind of annoying. Do you have it as a feature to just forget what was on mule characters after a certain period of time? I think it should be able to remember if it is at all possible.
its not like you would suddenly stop wanting to know whats on the mule, especially if you were keeping things we collect mass amounts of on (like dyna currency, alexandrites, heavy metal plates, crystals, abby seals for jobs, items for coalition assignments) Luckily I had downloaded a program called baggage on these forums somewhere and was able to see what was on the mules (although I had no idea how many of the items (in stacks) it had cause it lacks that feature.)
I think I have had times in the past even when i had all characters/mules active that it seemed to forget what was on them until i logged onto them again even with daily play (or even constantly search the same items the days before). It isnt as noticable these days tho if you are one that logs on all your mules for login points before you jump on your mains though.
It is not some kind of scheduled purge. I have noticed that FindAll just occasionally blanks its storage history. It is possibly a bug in the add-on or in the lib it uses to handle storage, but it is difficult to test what we cannot reproduce with some regularity.
