This has nothing to do with Europe, multiple people have reported the auto-updater getting incorrect files. We don't know why that is. We will try to switch to a different setup by hosting the addons on our server as well (like plugins, which work much better apparently). Currently we directly query GitHub for the files, but something is not right and we don't know what it is. It's possibly a caching issue.
This is a great idea, I'll do that now.
I'm getting an error on the find and tparty addons.
Shortly after enabling them, I get an error message, and windower automatically unloads them. The message says:
"find/tparty encountered a fatal error and must be terminated. Error: Access violation in In"
The rest of the message gets cut off by the edge of the screen, so I can't see the rest of it.
That is a plugin. Load the add-on.
Is GearCollector working for anybody at all? I haven't been able to get this working with sets exported from GearSwap. It starts moving around some items but then it just stops and I have been waiting for minutes, my Mog Safe is at 56/80 and inventory at 78/80. I always end up typing "gc stop" on the console and then just gathering my gear manually![]()
My gearcollector works fine, and has for years.
This is my settings file, all of those bags are accessible from MH (since I manually get the gear from/to them):
This error only started once I migrated (I was forced to!<settings>
<global>
<useSafe>true</useSafe>
<useLocker>true</useLocker>
<useStorage>true</useStorage>
<useSatchel>false</useSatchel>
<useSack>false</useSack>
<useCase>true</useCase>
<blockKeyboard>true</blockKeyboard>
<blockMouse>false</blockMouse>
<openStorage>true</openStorage>
<itemDelay>500</itemDelay>
<keyDelay>50</keyDelay>
<autoHeal>true</autoHeal>
</global>
</settings>) from SC to GS and now I am using the export XML from GS
.
Did you make sure that your locker didn't expire and that your Storage has 80 spaces? Storage is weird about that internally, since it will still report 80 unless checked in a specific way.
Yes, of course. My locker expires in about 3 years (hehehe) and my storage has 80 spaces, nothing has changed in that matter, //gc worked fine until last version update when Spellcast stopped to be supported and I had to migrate to Gearswap and export the XMLs to end up with the sets. I can get/put gear from all those spaces without issues.
Is there anything I can do to provide further information in order to get this mistery solved? Thanks!
Maybe post a pastebin link to the file you exported from gearswap so we can see if there is an error there that is preventing gearcollector from working
Great idea!
None of these two work:
http://pastebin.com/86GJdrvM
http://pastebin.com/3FiesM9Z
Thanks!
Edit: just for clarification, yes, those files are on spellcast directory and they are called WHM.xml and PLD.xml, and //gc starts getting -some- of the gear but at some point just stalls and I have to open the console and just "gc stop".
I do not know if gear collector can read <Left_Ear> type stuff. I thought it uses lear, rear, ear1, ear2. But I am not even sure if what the <tag> is called really matters in the first place. Other than that it looks like a fine file to me.
Gearcollector doesn't care what the tags are, so anything that's valid xml will work.
Anyone else having windower time out (or take forever to get past the all green load screen) when checking for updates?
I've been crashing on zones a lot lately (since the last update?). Managed to get a crash dump - hopefully it can help:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/uk2fddluyc....8048.dmp?dl=0
Windower puts a crash dump in the dumps folder (which is in the windower folder) any time it crashes now. Is that where you got this?
I made a post about this roughly a month ago but hadn't seen any response, so reposting. RDM timers are screwed up, seems like Composure isn't being taken into account. Spells that ordinarily should be lasting 14-15min, timers is saying it'll last 7 or 8minutes(untrue; verified with timestamp). Composure itself shows as a 2hour buff on timers too, kinda annoying. Also few people in my LS have this same problem.
