Windower 4 - Discussion and Support

Not sure if gearswap or shortcuts broke, but //chantducygne or //flash dont seem to be working. Returns a "You cannot attack that target". Adding <t> at the end works though. They do work for self-target though (ie: //trickattack). And I just noticed //cure5 with a player targeted will attempt to self cure.

It seems like everything is attempting to target on self.

Windower is crashing when logging in. Tried to do it with and without plugins/addons still crashs when starts loading the character in. It works fine without windower.

Edit: Its working with only Config and statustimers on. If I try with any other addons/plugins it crashed on load or on zoning after reloading them ingame.

I also crash when loading some plugin or something. I linked Arcon to a crash dump, but he won't be home for quite a while to look at it. If you can figure out what plugin it's in, that'd be helpful.

some of the targeting is broken, <lastst> does not work at present.

Launched with Config and Statustimers.

LUA:
Battlemod loads fine.
Distance loads fine.
Findall loads fine.
Instals loads fine.
Shortcuts loads fine.

Attempting to load Gearswap caused a crash.

Plugin: Timers loads fine.
FFXIDB loads then crashes, but the client still runs fine.

Probable culprit.

Oh, and something very odd. With just these plugins loaded, I traded vouchers and/or talked to Eternal Flame.. Every PC in the area "blinked" and slowly reloaded, as though they'd all changed gear at once.

Weird, everything but the ja0wait plugin seems to be working for me.

e: also getting the weird NPC reload on talking to Eternal Flame.

Gearswap doesn't seem to be detecting JA or WS though, just idle/battle modes.

Windower crashed trying to use Meteor Strike. Logged back in, crashed almost immediately and said something about FFXIDB so I turned that off. Crashed a third time after trying to use Meteor Strike again. Unloaded Gearswap and no crashing.

For me gearswap was crashing the game due to windower.ffxi.get_ability_recasts(), disabled it and its working now.

JaZero will need an update cause I think the signature changed slightly.

Im getting the npc blink too.

What OS and antivirus do you use?

Currently at work, so a possible weird setup, but,
Windows 7 Enterprise, SP1, Windows Defender.

Gearswap worked before the update.

Not windower-related but posting here because of the "technical" nature of the issue.
Friend can login normally with mules (same account) but not on main.
With windower and even with default POL.

What could the issue be? Anybody got an idea?

Having an issue with Fenrir's Impact not working with windower, not sure what addon/plugin is causing it, it gives a /ma impact error, so it won't let me use the /pet version. Windowerless it works fine

It is almost certainly Shortcuts and should go away when the resources are updated.

Gearswap definitely broken.


I setup a very simple script to do a test:

If I select Subduction from the menu (click char, click Magic, click Subduction) then I see the message: *** spell.name = Subduction ***

However, if I type in the command: /ma Subduction <t>
Then no message is displayed.

Keep crashing even with GS off, but my laptop doesn't crash at all. No idea.

Gearswap loads just fine for me, puts me in idle sets and what not, if i try to nuke it doesn't seem to swap gear, but enhancing gear seemed to swap...

I'm trying to do the RoE reives since I never did them...getting Reive status just crashed me, literally from just running into the reive.

I had the same issue, seemed to start working fine after unloading TParty before logging in

If I try to use curing walts with or without tp my POL crashes. Likely a windower issue. Anyone familiar?

Take that back, ANY /dnc spell crashes my game.
