Was playing for few hours well, suddenly crashed. When I came back, new things downloaded automagically and now I crash everytime I try to log into my char or mules. I guess something is going on hehe.

Sorry for double posting. I notice that now every time I open Windower LuaCore downloads and extracts (4 files) but then when I get to the process of selecting and logging in char, I crash. It is strange because I was playing for few hours before the first crash.

Any idea on what can be happened? Is it normal that everytime I open Windower LuaCore downloads and updates?

Edit: did "unloadall" on console before logging in a char and I was able to enter. GearSwap seems to work so, some plugin is breaking the game, but can't find out right now which one.

It is almost certainly Shortcuts and should go away when the resources are updated.

Seems anything that's self targeting still works fine like //stoneskin, but having to add a t for anything that's an enemy is causing pre/midcast to not fire, with or without shortcuts. IE //fire4 t, or /ma "Fire IV" <t> with shortcuts unloaded. FWIW, menu casting seems to bypass it and pre/midcasts work fine. This might be known, just got home from work a bit ago, hopped into a Vagary, and was sadfaced.

Yeah, this is because the target signature broke.

windower.ffxi.get_mob_by_target('t') always returns nil at the moment. Arcon is fixing it now.

for some reason luacore.dll is not updating properly on the live version
i needed to copy the luacore.dll from the dev version

Sorry for the slow fixes, was a long day at work and didn't get home until later. Every known issue should now be fixed though, please rerun the Windower launcher (don't need to log out, just update) and let us know if anything else shows up.

Was in nizzle izzle, used spectral jig, crashed. Now I can't log in at all using windower... even with all pluggins disabled.

Thank you guys so much for Windower... This game is nearly impossible to play now w/out it. If there was a reason SE doesn't get new subscribers... it's the fucking interface. This shit is archaic and just all sorts of wrong.

I admit. I took windower for granted.
(Can I please just get a little man??? I NEED it bad man... Just a taste is all I need...)

ive grabbed the updates on dev and <lastst> still doesnt work, for me at least, <stal> doesnt either. I use these a lot.

Everything else should be fixed. Try re-running the launcher.

using subtarget i get the error last sub target does not exist. This was the same the last time we had an update and lastst was broke. also doesnt work with gearswap. gearswap never enters precast when using a macro like this
/target <stal>
/ma spell <lastst>

and just to clarify i hit the launcher like every 5 mins ^^

edit: Stal does work, its just lastst that doesnt.

Definitely agree with the posts here, the folks that created and maintain Windower are awesome. I would quit ffxi if I couldn't use Windower and the great addons.

Pure curiosities sake, but what is the benefit of a macro like that over /spell <stal>? I don't see the point in creating a second step when it could be combined within the first and solve the issue you're experiencing.

There was a reason I used to use the target <st> and then what ever spell <lastst> but i cant remember what it was now.
