Couldnt u just set the update addon to check every 5 mins instead of running launcher every 5 mins?


Also i keep foregtting to post about it but I noticed over the last month if i copy paste something into ffxi it acts like i dont have a chat line open if i do it "too fast." Even though I do it the same speed I always have. you know hit space and then control + V. Usually hittin control V a second time works. just a little bit odd i am suddenly gettin the error. And this was on both my PCs. Not really a huge issue.

EDIT: yea subtarget addon wont work cause of the lastst thing.

Pure curiosities sake, but what is the benefit of a macro like that over /spell <stal>? I don't see the point in creating a second step when it could be combined within the first and solve the issue you're experiencing.

The reason for it is that i got used to typing them like that. I created an addon called subtarget that allows you to target a player using <stal> (store that target) and send your alt a command to cast a spell on said target. This illiminated the need for 6 macroes + for spells and also has the added benefit of being able to dual box from one window for 75% of the time until you need to do something you cant do via macro.

Just trying to find the "Unlimited" plugin for windower to unlock 60fps. Has this been removed since the last patch?

Unlimited was rolled in to the Config plugin a while ago. Use that one instead.

This feature was put into a newer plugin called Config. You can change the settings in that plugin via Windower/plugins/settings/config.xml

I recently redesigned the pasting function to make it more stable (it was extremely buggy for the last few years, would fuck up scrollbacks, chat history, auto-translate tags, etc.). It's possible that I changed how the "is the chat open?" check is performed which results in false negatives for a short time after opening it. I'll check it out sometime soon, if I don't forget. Less chance of me forgetting if you open an issue for it though.

The <stal>, <lastst> and FFXIDB issues should be fixed, by the way.

So I was on my mule in mog gardens. I havent really done much on him since I had to switch to this PC but I guess I had it in his autoexec to recast protectra and shellra 5 when they wear off. I havent used that kind of thing in a while. Anyways I was a bit surprised when It started casting shellra and protectra while in mog garden. As far as I know you arent supoosed to be able to cast magic in there. This seemed like a new thing so I thot i would check with you guys. Maybe its similiar to that using WS without being engaged to a monster type thing.

Unload all plugins/addons and try again, if it still happens it's not our fault. It's likely GS or Shortcuts, but should try unloading everything just to make sure.

Timers crashes when I use a blood pact as soon as I enter Skirmish II Yorica. It doesn't matter if I wait till everyone is spawned. It still crashes.

It says "timers encountered a fatal error and must be terminated. Error: Access violation in IncomingChunk method."

Been trying to get Organizer to work and I keep getting this error:

Organizer: Lua runtime error: organizer/items.lua:45: attempt to index global 'self' (a nil value)

It's basically taking shit out of my Wardrobe, thus filling up my inventory, and then not putting anything else in my wardrobe. Even when I had all my gear in my inventory so all it had to do was put it in wardrobe it still wasn't doing anything and giving me that error.

Granted I only have like 5 inventory spaces in my locker when my RDM specific gear is in there, and so once everything is out of my wardrobe and in my inventory then there's not a lot of space to work with, but I understood the addon to swap stuff until one thing is full, then swap from the other.

Thanks, I think I fixed the problem. I don't know why that was never an issue for me when I tested it.

I had to change Organizer's settings to be <bagname>priority</bagname> rather than <priority>bagname</priority> because valid xml tags can't start with numbers and it was causing problems with the config library. Sorry, everyone, but you'll have to change your priorities and such again!

for wildcards it requires a costly function it would be faster if you put every spell in to the list
i.e. like this
Songs = S{"Sword Madrigal","Blade Madrigal","Valor Minuet","Valor Minuet II","Valor Minuet III","Valor Minuet IV","Valor Minuet V"}

then you can check it like this
Songs:contains(spell.name)

Aye, had to separate songs somehow since debuff and buff are all clumped together as just songs. Thanks though.
