There are two G15s, have you tried g15v2_m1g1 etc... ? (I don't actually know which is the 18 key version.)

Out of curiosity, are the //console command fixes for 3.4 ever coming or it it 4 or GTFO?

Blah, for some reason I thought 3.42 auto-updated. Didn't know there was a new hook out. Much obliged.

EDIT: Stupid question, but all I have to do is download the new hook.dll file and just drop it into my Windower folder and replace the old one right? Same thing for TParty... just download the new plugin file and replace the old on in the plugins folder?

Figured out which plugin is causing the crashing on /shutdown; it's StatusTimer.

This was my suspicion yesterday as well. I had it down to StatusTimer and Logger, and StatusTimer is the only one that has been changed lately.

You mean the Playonline Windows error when you /shutdown?
Because I get it and I don't use Logger nor Statustimer (have this one installed but not loaded).

Maybe the cause of mine is different.
I didn't bother to save the logs because I used to get a similar error (very seldomly) when I closed one instance of FFXI and had another one open.
With windower4 it seems this happens almost everytime instead that rarely, but... oh well.

    Here is the git: https://github.com/Windower/Lua/tree...s/BuffDuration

He did rename it, it's now called buffduration, so keep that in mind. Read the readme on the page i linked. it tells you what you need to download. Also, remember, just right-clicking and saving-target as does not work in github. If you want to do that you must click -> right click the raw button. Seeing as how this should be better than btimers i highly suggest upgrading, especially seeing as i don't even use btimers so i don't see bugs and such.
the extend.xml goes into the data folder ya? whenever i try to load it, it loads but it also says "Extend.xml not found"

Is there a way to PM someone on Github? Or make a comment on a file for other people to see it? Aside from raising an Issue, of course.

    Spoiler: show
    kinda nevermind:
I'd like to ask the author if it would be possible to implement "Buff ID groups" for armor affecting for example all of Enhancing Magic spells. For example, with RDMs AF3+2 or BRD song+ armors, you'd list it in confing as affecting all enhancing spells or all songs instead of listing every single buff ID separately. You cold make a separate buff ID set (think spellcast gearsets as an analogy), listing several other buff IDs within, that could be used instead of each buff ID separately.

Another thing is, the gear example (THF feet) adds static +15s to buff duration, but some armors add a % duration increase (again, especially songs and enhancing magic, maybe SMN BP:ward buffs too, since they wary with SMN skill?), which would be different for different spells and would need each spell+ each armor listed separately, instead of [1 armor]:[1 group of spells/IDs].

My spellcast performance issue is persisting. After an hour or two of being logged in I start to get performance issues every time I use a spell/ja/ws, the game will lock up very briefly due and fps will drop. I took out every single variable in my main's xml to try and make it so the char I spend most of my time on is smooth but it hasn't worked.

This doesn't happen at all on 3.4 (using spellcasts with lots of variables and includes), I even ran the 3.4 launcher after the 4 launcher to ensure all the same settings were being used ingame so it is 100% a windower 4/plugin issue.

    Hello~

I came back after a loong quit with a new PC and a fresh install.
    I have Windows 8.
I installed the game and windower 4.
Tried to login with a "virgin" windower (default options and no plugins) but, when i press Play trying to enter the game... it crashes...
I lurked the forum a bit and tried the "fix" with no tick in compatibility menu and "manual run as administrator" every time..
    Nothing works..

Is there a way to let it work for me? Thank you.

p.s. I have a Nvidia geforce xt650 fyi, and turned on Graphic Stabilization option in FFXI option (devs said it's supposed to reduce game crashes for semi-supported graphic cards)

Is there a command to "refresh" BlinkMeNot"? Eg, if you change to a fishing rod, or use an equipable item to warp, it'd be nice to "reload" your character without having to unload BlinkMeNot, manually change equipment to get it to reload, and then reload BlinkMeNot.

Why not just turn off the non combat blink restrictions?

Because checking bazaars etc with people blinking all the time is annoying as shit.

That's why i just keep everything on.

Only way i know of would be to just unload blinkmenot (does //bmn disable/enable still work?) change a peice of gear so you blink, then reload blinkmenot.

Messes with Quick Draw when I'm not engaged. (eg, sleeping aggro)

This is annoying because Spellcast usually switches back to my regular gear, so if I want to stop seeing the dumb mog hat I have to unload, take off a piece of gear, put it back on, and then reload.

Attainment appears to give improper times in dynamis buburimu, I'm presuming it doesnt work in other areas as well.

    Could make a windower macro

    unload blinkmenot
    input /equip gear
    load blinkmenot

    prob need waits.

then you could alias it and just do //twentypercentcooler
