This is not really specific to Windower 4.. though I don't remember having this issue in 3. If you use a controller, is there any way to have my 2nd session of windower completely ignore it? The controller just does really weird things when switching between windows. I don't really need it for my mule. Thanks~!

I have the issue in 3 as well, when you switch your cursor flies around or your macro tray opens? Theres no way to block it.

yeah I kept my mule mostly on her own laptop.. so couldn't remember. but yeah that and sometimes the controller stays on the second window even when the first is in focus. sometimes it just goes crazy and tabs around a million miles an hour.

guess I need a new laptop for my mule.. hers blew up

I've narrowed the screen freezing due to the Oshi add-on. Everytime I was in VW and had a lot of spam log my screen froze.
Also I'm unable to get auto-invite to work or macro changer. Is anyone else having this issue?

What exactly isn't working? Does it give an error or is it just not accepting? If it's the latter, tell me your settings please.

Yep send broke for me, even unloading it and using the old dual send program (which I used for years before the lua addon) didn't work. Really wish I would have figured that out before I went into tri-box salvage Guessing the hook update to 4.0.0.27 broke it?

It worked for me at one point, but then just stopped working after one of the updates. I'm not getting an error, just not accepting.

Macro changer says it's changing to the job I'm on but it ends up going to a random macro page.

Whitelist mode means it won't accept invites unless that person is on your whitelist. If you want to accept arbitrary invites from anyone, change that to blacklist. Then it will accept invites from anyone except people on that blacklist.

I don't know about Macro Changer, though, if you can track down the author, it would probably be your best bet. By the sounds of it, you need to set it up properly. Maybe if you pastebin your settings.xml from Macro Changer I can tell you what the problem is.

Was fishing in tree before update, everything was fine. New hook got updated and the waterfall by cloister makes my FPS nosedive to 18 from an always steady 30. Made sure nothing on PC updated beyond it.

EDIT- Hmm, 2 reboots fixed the issue. Not sure what happened >.>

send doesn't work at all right now for me, and is there anyway to have battlemod on and still see weaknesses/procs? As it stands they get filtered along with some other system info.

Last few days I've been having an issue where the screen freezes without crashing the game, I can move around, type, do stuff, just frozen at a previous screen. If I try to tab out/minimize the screen just goes blank and I end up having to restart. Any idea what might be causing this? Iirc last three times it happened was once during the Twitherym NM in Ceizak, once in Delve and once in Abys-Misar (with barely any people around, so dubious it was chatlog spam?).

Also having issues with pol crashing. Had a few crashes on login, and on zoning. Stuff like this makes me hate the auto-update feature.

my send also stopped working however i loaded up the old ffxi utils and used that sandbox and its send and it seemed to work, but triggers might not be working. i use things like dancing chains to have my mule cure from my main whoever i target, so i had to resort to my old method of /target <stpc> then /tell cure<lastst> and have mule's autoexec toss a cure at that particular person when it gets cureperson for a tell (i pretty much only do stuff with the same people, so its easy to set up just annoying to have to use a tell.

oh and everything was working fine aftr the ffxi update but after i started launcher and it updated that hook its all a mess.

Temp fix for send, found on ffxi-ah

I just rolled back my Hook to the previous version and Send works again. Albeit, it's a pain in the freaking a** to keep replacing a hook that keeps replacing itself every launch. /sigh

I went to my windower folder, right clicked on Hook.dll. Went to properties, selected the tab Previous versions. Completely logged out of game then went ahead with the roll back. Grab the file and copy it somewhere safe. When you open the Windower client again it will update the hook to the newest version which you dont want.. so after POL launches just replace the new hook w/ the old. Over and over again everytime u log in. As far as sharing the hook.. I'm not good w/ file sharing. Perhaps if ppl don't wanna go thru the rollback process one can give me a website to share the file at.
