    Speculation
    Spoiler: show
Everyone but Will is dead. No way in hell Abagail lives from that. Possibly the same for Jack and Alana.

That plane scene...Hannibal was aware of every fucking thing. During the last part I was frantically thinking, Where the fuck are the cops, anyone?! Seeing Abigail stunned me.

Can't believe Fredie survived. My jaw dropped both times with Abigail and plane scene.

Knew Abigail was still around. Still no sign of Chilton or Mirriam.

Hannibal played a better game than Will for sure. Held Abigail as an ace in the hole to catch Will off guard in the moment he came for him.

Next season he'll be on the run and will be caught. Its been rumored that season 4 will be the Silence of the Lambs season in Fullers plan.

Was wondering if Will would be disemboweled or not considering he is in the books. Figured that it would be Jack instead based on how the season started.

Nah, Jack aint dead, Alana, definitely is tho. What a great season finale, I couldnt have asked for anything else. Plane scene didnt surprise me too much, you knew she knew what Hannibal was. But Abigail? I about fell off the damn couch.

I was convinced Abigail was still alive for so long but gave up on it eventually. Great season end, completely played with my expectations.

Jack could be dead and the character carried on through Purnell. I have to figure they can't keep Laurence Fishburne forever on a Friday night line up budget

Fantastic ending.. Really annoys me that the cops never turned up or took so long. Especially because there was 2 phone calls made what 10-15 mins apart. Also surely the FBI would be ready waiting considering they had warrants out for Jack and Will... Beyond annoying little things like that absolutely fantastic tv!

    season 3 spoilers
With all of you guys flat out f*cking raving about Season 2 of “Hannibal” I’m definitely primed to start a marathon binge watching session. I’m a little bit bummed that parts of the end of Season 2 got spoiled for me in this interview with creator Bryan Fuller on TV Guide, but I did it to myself. I figured I’d enjoy the BBQ more later if I got just a little bit of work done today.

Check out what he has to say about the upcoming third season. But… for those who haven’t seen Season 2… I’m warning you. SPOILERS below.

Per Fuller, Will Graham survives the Season 2 finale. “We are staying very true to in the incident in the novel with Will and Hannibal and it’s very basic outcome.” What about everyone else? “Everyone that’s laying their breathing could be breathing their last breaths. It doesn’t go well for all of them.”

They’re getting their hands dirty with the Hannibal origin story. “Season 3 is going to be a lot of fun because it’s going to be taking a lot of disparate elements from the novel Hannibal Rising and the novel “Hannibal” and mashing them up together as part of the thrust of the season. It’s going to be fun to bastardize two novels into one sort of Frankenstein season. I will brace everybody right now: We’re significantly changing the Hannibal origin story from Hannibal Rising.”

Yet more familiar characters will pop up. “The books won’t necessarily be in sequential order. We’ll be hitting elements of each of them except Silence of the Lambs in the next season. My hope is that not only do we have a completely different Hannibal Lecter story in Season 3, but we will meet some of those great characters like Francis Dolarhyde and Lady Murasaki and weave them into the world in a unique way.”

I just marathoned the last 8 episodes over the long weekend. Show is so well structured from a story-telling department. The arcs are so well planned and executed. It felt like two mini-seasons with the Will-in-asylum and then Will + Hannibal/Vergers. Each story has such a fantastic ending too. As amazing as the finale was the second to last one with Verger feeding his face to the dogs was horribly great.

Hannibal's heartbroken response to Will in the finale made for one of the best episodes of TV ever. I was thinking how cool it would be for the character of Hannibal if they all did die. Would be a reflection of his incredible power and intelligence. I know they won't because the Will/Hannibal relationship is too important and Red Dragon. Jack I'm not sure about because I lean towards death, but they set up the trouble he'll be in with the FBI pretty heavily, and Alanna is dead.

Awesome TV marathon this weekend. Also finished the Americans, which was amazing as well.

Just watched the Finale, holy fuck, I was left speachless for the last 10-15 min. Honestly, has to be the most eventful non series ending Finale I've ever seen, and it was played to perfection.

I don't see how they can keep Will alive but kill Jack/Alana, Will seemed to take the more severe brute part of the punishment, but w/e, it is TV and there's a fair bit that's not realistic so it is what it is.

Maybe I didn't catch it somehow, but what plane scene is everyone talking about with Fredie Lounds? Was it a clip at the ending that I missed perhaps? Or something I missed during the show(maybe got up for a drink or something)

Brilliant Finale though, really looking forward to next season.

It wasnt with Fredie, it was Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson's), character, Hannibal's therapist, on the plane with him after the credits.

Yeah it looked like Will got sliced really bad but I'm sure it's gonna be something in lines where Hannibal cut him in a way he would survive and remember who the boss is

    To aragon's question:
    Spoiler: show
It's after the credits and it's with his psychiatrist not Freddy Lounds.

    edit: beaten

On a side note why did it seem like so much time had passed without a single cop showing up? And as bad as Will was bleeding he did get sliced in the stomach which from what I've heard is a "slow and miserable death". I'd guess that since help was on the way that he could be helped. Jack I hope, but I dont know about him....

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Will_Graham
in the book canon that it's somewhat based on
Lecter, who has removed his shoes, sneaks up on Graham and slashes his abdomen with a linoleum knife, nearly disemboweling him.

Regarding the police, I read on reddit that when Hannibal is leaving the house you can see the police/ambulance lights, reflected I think. They also timed it, 8mins I think from Alana getting there, which may be a reasonable delay.
