Well , (and I'm no expert on the subject) but common is still in the game, and relevant, whereas I would say LL is not. I was speaking long term. Also I'm biased cause common is probably in my top ten rappers of all time list.

Hate to agree with this because he's the greatest rapper to come out of Chicago sans maybe Twista, and I always loved the intellectual hip-hop style rather than BLING BLING BITCHES AND CATCH LINES shit that everyone else does.
